I'd appreciate that approach too. However, given that it's been quite some time since they last updated the game with new content, and considering that the graphics are beginning to feel dated by today's standards, a new installment might be more likely.

EA puchased Codemasters in 2021 and the next rallygame is WRC23 which is a mix between WRC and Dirt Rally. So there will only be WRC games from now on for the serious drivers and Dirt for the arcade crowd.

I hope they still manage to capture the essence of DiRT Rally in the WRC games for the fans of the series. Time will tell how they balance between the simulation and arcade dynamics. I comprehend how difficult is to make the eyesight line to be the same level like the camera. @@ProjectSimRacing It seems that hardware built is the easy part of such a rig. Software fine tuning is finally the beast in the room. I formatted now my four years built Windows 11 machine. Imagine the pain to setup all software bits on every sim. Nightmare…😎

oh man, I can only imagine! Software setup can be a real challenge, especially after a fresh format. Hardware is tangible; you see it, set it, done. But with software, there are so many variables and nuances to get just right across multiple sims. It's time-consuming and can be frustrating, but when it all comes together, the experience is unmatched. Stay patient, and remember the end result will be worth the effort! 😊🏁🖥️

I just picked up a mid grade sim setup ( playseat trophy, Logitech g pro wheel, and pedals, got the rs shifter, and hoping Logitech comes out with a nicer h pattern shifter). All of this is running on a series x, but I’m sure I’ll plunge into a pc at some point. But man you can shred these tracks.

Amazing driving, great video quality. Now I hate my choice to go for 7900xtx, it does not leliver like this one. How is it possible at all to drive in wet with such speeds, unbelievable, and wanted just to take a look and close it, and didnt notice how stage finished. Keep on going, you really should be in the top of sim racing bloggers, there's even no need to comment on anything, just drive. Would love to see also some ACC/iRacing races, with your setup looks gorgeous.

Fantastic driving. Borrowed a Logitech wheel recently intending to give sim racing a shot and have spent almost all my time rallying in DR2.0. Awesome game. Taking the plunge with a Fanatec setup soon. Thoughts on the best options for a primarily rally wheel? Might dabble in some other things. Leaning toward the Clubsport RS at the moment.

after playing both RBR RSF and DirtRally 2, i did feel that dirt rally is a little bit loose on gravel and too grippy on tarmac .. but overall the car motion on dr2 felt better than RBR RSF .. hoping to see how EA WRC going to perform next !

@kuacisudo995, I totally agree! Dirt Rally 2.0 does have its quirks when it comes to surface grip, but the overall car dynamics feel more polished compared to RBR RSF. Like you, I'm really curious to see how EA WRC will shake up the sim racing world. Fingers crossed for a game that combines the best of both!🙂🤞

Thank you so much! While I typically stick to the default settings, I do occasionally adjust the brake bias. In this video, for instance, I've set it to max front braking strength. That's the only tweak I make. 😊
