I always thought it was silly that the enemy throwing themselves at you year after year as they rack up insane casualties doesn't give you tons of war participation Like, I defended against the Soviets as Finland for years, killed 5+ million troops before Germany ever declared on them, and THEY get the war score because they took more land? If this was any other Paradox game, taking out millions of troops in battle would give you crazy war score

Ethiopia is actually kinda fun, especially in R56 where you get some extra buffs via some focuses for the country and can even get some land for free basically from the UK and French after you're done overcooking all of the pasta people in your mountains terrain.

The Greek tree is secretly very broken. If you go down the left part, and increase your relationship with all the political factions (you can do this with no downsides), you get to go fascist and get cores on half of europe. Got like 150% recrutitable factor, not to speak of the increase in flat recruitment percentage, stability and almost no consumer goods. Its a completely busted focus tree, you can be allied with communists in goverment, while beeing fascist.

As Guatemala, you can have I believe 8 chorium, which you can use to your advantage, build some heavy tanks and subs right away. CAS is a must have, they will help you greatly. Research paratroopers right away, you can use them to jump to Panama and capitulate them by dropping them across the Panama Dam or wherever its called. If you play on non-historical (I do) Mexico will usually declare war on you, or have about two civil wars. But first, go fascist as quickly as possible, you can form the Central American Empire before 1938 ends.
