Nice, but that would be the breather gurgling, not the oilpump.

Interestingly we later checked the breather and it was completely blocked off and caused oil to burn out the exhaust

Nice CB750 brother, I have a 72 as a daily driver, I don't understand why everyone says the brakes on it are horrible I mean they're not the best but they are better than some other bikes, I mean as long as you start with your front brake and then start breaking with your back brake it's just fine, I've never had a problem with mine and stops pretty well but I do have steel braided lines which I'm sure helps

Thank you! Those things are definitely a labor of love. I'm sure those brakes can be good, but I have yet to experience a good set of them.

That's a good question. This is the oil bag that came on the bike when we found it so we wanted to keep it original not only to the '70s, but to the guy who built this particular bike.
