Trying To Turn Venti Into A Main DPS

If I had a nickel for everytime I've watched someone try and build a DPS Venti, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.

im a dps venti main and have managed to 36* abyss w him (i typically run either faruzan/bennett/zl or faruzan/bennett/furina depending on how much i need stun resistance) so im very happy to see another venti builder 🫶🫶🫶best of luck on future artifact rolls & to get c6 faruzan!! a few quick notes: for full rotations, venti’s tap e is better since even tho the dmg is less, the shorter cooldown more than makes fun of it make sure ur charged attacking on venti in between skills and bursts!! for skill damage, lyney’s weapon is actually better than aqua (obv u can pull for whatever u want tho :]) if u wanna do nuke showcases, ive done a couple (not on youtube but on tiktok) if u wanna use that setup!! its pretty old (pre-fontaine) but is still the optimal setup according to my calcs ^^

As a DPS Venti haver, this was really fun to see. I've been through the struggle, and it definitely takes time and primos and investment (horizontal and vertical) to make the little bastard hit hard. But for the weapon and artifacts and supports you have, that's pretty good green damage! Leveling Faruzan, Benny, and Furina's Qs would be the next affordable, non-RNG step I can advise, and building and trying Jean so Furina can stack fanfare and get VV hydro swirls. Also, I personally prefer to use tap E instead of hold E. It does smaller numbers but it has shorter CD so in the end, I feel he does more damage over time and he's less idle. Good luck with your aqua pulls too though! Crossing fingers for you. Now in case someone is interested in my little shit, I'll do a bit of a flex (if admitting questionable life choices counts as one) to give an insight of how a non-C6 low spender Barbatos is like. My Venti is C2 (honestly I wouldn't recommend Venti cons in these post-Faruzan times, his cons are on the sad 1.0 side so only do it if he's your absolute fave), on skyward harp, 2k atk, 69/204 crit, 2p vv 2p glad. By itself he looks cracked but his supports help a LOT. I used to use him with Faru/Benny/Zhongli before 4.2. Now I'm using Shi's same core of Faru and Furi but I use Jean or Xianyun in a triple anemo bastard team I like to call The Washing Machine. If I need mobility or exploration I go with bird mom, but lately I'm running circle impact with Jean because I got her C4 recently (HUGE for this team!) My Faruzan is C6 (ironically, I got her last cons on a weapon banner while failing to get aqua) and using Elegy, and my Furina is C2 on the pipe. I didn't get them for Venti in particular *coughxiaomain* *cougharchoncollector* but those improvements have skyrocketed my boy and I really love the washing machine for mob challenges and domains and low abyss floors. But yeah, personally all I want is a bit more crit rate and a better anemo goblet to consider my Venti perfect. Wish I had his C3 too, but he keeps rerunning before new archons so I think C2 is a good stopping point (I should've stopped at C0 anyway lol, I didn't know Faruzan would powercreep his cons' buffs)

(genshin banner spoilers warning) reading this felt like code ngl like i was decoding some shi like this is another language man😭😭 but on topic, very useful information thank you for the advice :") (former venti main dps trying to make a comeback without knowing what the metas been since like... 3. whatever) curious, do you think aqua is his BiS? i was planning to pull on the weapon banner for (spoilers) chasca and lyney ? i heard they were going to be running together and chascas bow looks good for him, but also if i got lyneys it would at least be a 5* bow? and is 4pc vv an ideal set for dps? i run him with the same set as you, but with an atk circlet (?? wtv gives you the crit main stat) since he has like no cr 😭🙏 but idk have any other domains come out that would be better for him? sorry for all the questions, ofc no need to answer but still 🙇🙇 thank youu ;;

@@swimminginthestars_ Haha sorry, if you want me to translate anything I said let me know! I've seen other more serious/whale DPS Venti mains going with Polar Star (Childe's bow) so maybe that's his best bow before Chasca's release. Personally I don't like it because you need to do all types of attacks once to activate the passive. Aqua is pretty good for the crit dmg, although the base attack is a bit low, and you need to get close to enemies for its passive. I'm not a theorycrafter and have no idea if Chasca's bow will be his BiS but the swirl part of the passive sounds really juicy for him! I'm actually considering to try to pull one 5* on this banner to upgrade my Venti. My favorite team for him uses triple anemo so I can proc Lyney's bow too. But yeah, that one's normally a stat stick if you don't use more anemos. Scara's set's 2p has 15% anemo dmg so 2p anemo 2p anemo is another option. I watched a video comparing them (I think by scuffie) and I think it was more or less the same to 2p atk. Other than that, if you use him with Furina you could potentially change to 4p marechausee hunter and forget about crit rate, but then you have to use them together all the time. I'd recommend a crit rate circlet, especially if you get a crit dmg bow like Aqua, Chasca's, or Lyney's. In my experience, when he misses a crit it feels pretty bad. Try to aim for at least 70%+ crit rate (count MH's +36% if you ever switch to that). Attack isn't bad but if you get a lot of crit dmg from his bow it's a waste not to crit most of the time. Im very proud of my venti build. C4(No I didnt whale, I just got him over all his reruns LOL) I solo with him cuz hes very fun. skill unbuffed does 29k and hold down does 49k! all without buffs!!!!!!!!! 2.4k atk, 55 cr and 220 cd

I joined Genshin impact during the end of venti's banner all yhe way back in 4.1... i tried 20 pulls on his banner but didn't get anything... From then on I've gotten furina, Nahida and many other favourite characters of mine but now I'm definitely gonna get him! I have 32 pity with a recent 50/50! After loosing my 50/50 for nilou then getting her early at around 50 pity, hopefully i do get him... I wanted to get the Aqua simulacra for him but i don't think I'll be able to pull for it this time :')
