With the green clean after you massage it in on the dry skin with makeup, before you rinse it off completely, you need to add just a bit of water to emulsify it, massage it again and then rinse it off. That will remove all of that mascara you had left over under your eyes. And you should use a second cleanse afterwards.

I love that 3 barrel tool! The very best way to use it is to put your hair in Dutch braids while wet and then let it dry and then take them out once they dry and then use that tool to crimp the very bottom and very tops. If you let the braids dry overnight you wake up in the morning take the braids out do the very bottom and the very top and it looks so good and takes less than 10 mins!

They key to cleansing balms is you have to emulsify them!! So you get your hands wet and then continue massaging into your skin. That’s where the “milky lather” comes from and that’s what actually lifts the makeup that’s been broken up by the oils off of your face. And you should always follow with a water-based cleanser afterwards to remove any oil residue.

For the three pronged “curler” as you called it, it’s a crimper! I used to use one for a while years ago. You can actually get a similar look if you braid your hair while it’s wet and let it dry in the braids (like if you wet your hair and braid it before bed), it’s better for your hair since there’s no heat!
@WhimsicalCrochet4 жыл бұрын
Em Floyd it’s actually a three pronged curler, a crimper is very different and is meant to put texture into your hair, this creates actual beach wave curls which you can not get from braiding your hair, braiding your hair crimps it. If you look it up, they’re called three prong curling wands.
@nicolenbbw79474 жыл бұрын
I always called it a 3 barrel iron, and I called them crimps not curls. But I guess they'd be best described as waves, since they are not those tight 80s crimps
@yellowmnm15s4 жыл бұрын
Jordyn Johnson because of rebranding. In the 80s and 90s, these were huge and were called crimping irons or crimpers. Same product from then to now.

Jordyn Johnson www.byrdie.com/best-hair-crimpers-4767397 They’re the same thing. I used to crimp my hair with the same tool she uses, and it creates the exact same effect as letting my hair dry in braids.

Em Floyd then you must not do tight braids, sorry my moms a hair dresser so she’s always done my hair in tight braids and it creates a crimped effect, not mermaid curls.

I use the Green Clean with the Makeup Eraser (or any gentle face cloth) to wash it off. It works wonders for eye makeup. Chances are the other eye makeup removers work well because of the cotton round. If you only use your hands it’s hard to get into those lashes! Highly recommend trying again with a damp makeup eraser and I promise all that eye makeup will come off.
