This is lovely!!! Question tho- what is the point of sealing off the sticky base with another layer of polish (matte)- why bother with the sticky layer? Also, with everything from the sticky layer on as regular polish, how long does the polish & design last? Before gel I had my nails done with acrylic because polish lasts all of 2 days on my nails. I’ve been covering my stamps with gel top coat… could I put the no smudge top coat down and then seal it all in with a gel top coat?

@@lesnla thank you!! And great questions! Since I used dip powders underneath and buffed them smooth- i needed the sticky base under matte top coat so it wouldn’t peel up. After applying the smudge free top coat and letting it totally dry- you can do your normal top coating steps with dip liquids (activator and dip top coat) or skip the smudge free top coat and do gel base and gel top! Nope not if you wait until it’s dry then top with a smudge free top coat! I used Maniology’s smudge free top coat (that’s for stamping). And then you can either top with a super shiny nail polish top coat OR use the method I do with dip liquids! I’ll link a video showing how to top with dip liquids!
