We had a friend from Japan when we were in grade school and she introduced us to chocolate and strawberry pocky. I love that stuff but I do think it's more Japanese. Although now, the Thai probably have their own version as well. In Thailand they use tamaran fruit for the sauce in traditional pad Thai to give it that sweet tangy flavor I love it. I probably would be the same as you don't think I would like the banana Squid or seaweed.

I've never eaten seaweed but I'd try it. Love Pocky Sticks. Growing up in Louisiana we ate a lot of seafood and spicy food & I love squid so I'd probably like that one. I hate bananas so I wouldn't even try that one. I love my coffee strong so I know I'd love those. Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🎅 🤶 ❤️

Like you I am a chips, cake, chocolate kind of person. But I also love seaweed! Plain seaweed, crackers wrapped in seaweed, rice balls wrapped in seaweed, yum! However, my mom was Japanese.

Oh i love pocky! I use to go to the asian market and they had mint, cookies and cream and banana flavored ones that had chocolate sticks. SO good!

My daughter-in-law is from the Philippines and many of their snacks are influenced by Asian flavors, including dried seaweed. At first, it didn't taste good to me, but she would take me to the Asian to shop, and I got to try different brands, and there are a few that I love to eat.😊
