The best way I can describe Sans that the ts underswap writers clearly understand too is that in normal circumstances Sans is generally laughing with you/at you cuz it's funny while in these scenarious he's laughing at you to mock you.

The fact that I got every single one of these as well as the extra dialogue you get for dying to Sans’ second phase 😒. (My favorite one is easily the airplane one)

Even in normal Undertale that happens. How are you suddenly an asshole when the first thing a monster does is hurt you? How are they justified when they do kill you (we're not here to see that, but it has to happen) Sure, Genocide requires you to hunt monsters, but the ones that coles across you may be the equivalent of crossing a pedestrian on the road and the first thing they do is punch you.

@@Sephiroth08150 I don’t think either game really punishes you for killing. Sure ppl are upset (understandably), but even Sans mentions it could’ve been self defense. The thing is, since only 2 ppl were involved and one is now dead, the narrative of what happened could be anything. Some monsters accidentally hurt you, while others intentionally are trying to kill. The accidents are mostly that they’re sending out magic as how they express themselves, which endangers humans. The intentional ones want to escape the underground, so it’s understandable they attack out of desperation. Geno route is the only one that makes you a true threat, and they morally judge you. Because systematically finding and killing every monster is malice.
