TS2019 Route Building Tutorial 03: Basic DEM Tutorial

A basic tutorial on how to import DEM (Real hill/terrain data) into Train Simulator 2019. You will need a basic understanding of the TS route editor and using windows file systems/the RW directory.

I just need to get my Google maps to work again and I can get back to my route.

I have the files in there correctly and when I import, nothing happens. No terrain is shown (and it’s the mountains I’m in so there should be a noticeable difference)

this doesn't work for me, google maps don't load on the terrain and whenever i try to import the terrain files (files are .HGT files) nothing happens regardless of what tile size i select, any ideas on how to troubleshoot this

Thanks for this. I am currently making a new route from Belfast to Belfast International Airport which is fictional but it will give me practice for when I make more Irish routes in the future.

in my case I am with the msts / tsre5 which is basically the same I do not know if it has the same configuration as ts2019 once loading the hgt files it does not leave me the correct levels, is there any option that the hgt files have the same level as in the real life?

I downloaded the terrian height it worked but now it does not work I did not change anything since it was working just fine. Can any please help?
