@@leonperry123 if you have the stated API key you need to paste that into the game. Do so by going to your settings and google maps page.

I've been building a route of mine and I've gotten decently far, but I'm not satisfied with the terrain set I've chosen. Found some tutorials on how to add textures, however they aren't detailed enough for me to be 100% confident to try. Do you happen to know how to add textures from other terrain sets? If so please make a tutorial, It would be greatly appreciated.

How did you get so many textures? Especially for the track ballast? I have enabled the AP track as well as many routes and I still only have the basic textures coming up.

I'm building a route right now and I'm trying to paint track ballast. Because you can only paint in 8 meter sections, I find it incredibly frustrating and hard to get a natural-looking paint job without being able to see the 8m sections. Any tips on how to make it look smoother?

Its really tricky,the Train Simulator TS mesh is a right pain. I generally paint all the terrain around the track and then use a 15-20m brush along the track. It'll always end up looking "wider" than real life track ballast though sadly.

He didn’t get them from a website I do not believe. He got the textures by changing file directories. I need to know how to do this aswell ASAP

How do you use the additional track textures to work? I am using Vulcan Productions track but only the kuju textures come up.

As in actual ground textures? That requires editing of the environment files for your route to make it so they show in your editor list,a task which I haven't perfected myself yet either tbh.

@@tr_nt. Yes that's what I am referring to. Actually thinking about it,I don't have the VP track but I am sure I saw them say the track textures were based on those from DTG routes and as such you should paint below the track with DTG's textures that come with their routes? I don't think the VP pack actually includes ground textures.

@@TrainSim_TV can you please tell me how to do it. I have like 8 ground textures but I want a texture that would match my AP track enhancement pack track so please could you tell me how. Just like a few steps because I’ve searched everywhere and I can’t find a single article that explains how to do it simply.

No,you can change it from square to round,and change radius or volume but not rotate. Can be pretty annoying sometimes when it paints in a jagged line,sadly no real way to overcome it.
