Really enjoyed this featured product. I like these analog direct boxes with professional cab sims. Currently using a Bluguitar version. The functionality of this deluxe version is very impressive. With the pre/power amp, mic selection combined with the cab type this is a dream come true for the DI players.

I always like the talking, especially on this one because what it does is somewhat subtle. It looks like something I'm interested in although I always want to know what an acoustic piezo would sound like through it.

Commentary pretty helpful with this unit. I am experimenting with ways to incorporate some P.A. gear with the amplifier array to get more clean power. I specifically need a cab sim D.I., this one might work. 😸

The pre and amp section reminds my of Tech21 approach. Sounds more natural with the overdrive though. EL84 would be nice.

Wish I had seen this before the lock down, when a needed a silent practice option. I bought the Strymon Iridium, but I bet this is cheaper? Sounds pretty ace! Would have been a good fit with my DLS?

The clean sounds from the amp connected to multicab sound impressive. I don't know about the overdriven sound from the amp though. I still bought the multicab because it sounds so good with the overdrive pedal.

add a valve preamp/overdrive before it like a jmp-1 and should sound even closer to the real deal.

Such an old Idea ? weird how companies keep going back to this one and try to digitize such a material thing like pushed speaker air - Palmer, Tech21, H&K Redbox, etc etc etc saying that it sounds great esp with that 6 overdrive .. killer !! pedal ho gonna get me yo.

I'll be honest. I thought this sounded pretty average. having said that the Torpedo didn't sound that great in comparison either and yet I've never noticed it sounding bad in RJ's videos so who knows, perhaps in the context of a track it would be fine.

Hi and thanks for asking. No it is not possible to load IR's as it does not support that kind of technology. While developing it we made a conscious decision not to use the IR technology. This way, and in conjunction with parallel analog audio path, we managed to create a unit that minimizes latency (not even barely noticeable), providing the most genuine and direct experience possible.

The both mics> 6Lx > clean or hot preamp is my fav. Practical to have pedal unit, vs on screen and cable incompatibility nightmare scenario, just plug it in a interface...turn it on and jam, no annoying live mic to interfere...it might be something for me, after Xmas...tired of Apple cables, new ones, old ones,...I just want it there, ..to begin practicing, without hassles...it would be cool, if he added a usb mini, for Apple Mac, iphone , or iPad new usb c , I think it is, just wish Apple and Android could use same type new usb...I guess, u could put both in, as they are tiny. That might increase his market share to sell this, plus, u might not need a DI, IF IT IS IBUILT,..THERE IS A FAIRLY NEW IRIG 49 keys KB, that, has, a 24/96kHs, ..input/ output interface, not just the usual midi, it , of course also has. ...just an idea...then u can plug this fine amp/cab/mic simulator pedal into ANY MODEREN DEVICE. ...GET SO TIRED OF DYSFUNCTIONAL OR INCOMPATIBLE CABLE.....I REAL, THOUGHT, I JUST MIGHT TRY TO FIND A STAND ALONE 4 track....tape or digital mini as Roland/boss, and others have...but, even an OLD PORTASTUDIO AS A BASSPLAYER FRIEND USED TO HAVE...PLUG AND PLAY....BUT, NEWER STUFF RECORDS TO USB MEMORY...’ I still haven’t found, what I am looking for,’ ...maybe, just get a nice mini amp! Lol! ..it is not that I don’t know how, it just is I can’t, presently charge this on a card to get what I need, yet. Maybe, this new year, all this change and banks want to loan me, to get interest...funny, how they are, u know they, ..want to get a few late fees too, extra...; )
