I was just thinking I can't figure out if this girl is a young girl with a mature voice, or an older woman who looks super young 😂 cuz sometimes she really did sound like a mother or an auntie lol, and it could go either way cuz some asians never raisin 😂

YES--try new things! My main cooking hobby is eastern cuisine. I have been messing around with things since 2012. Each country is vast and different. Going to the Asian markets where I live is amazing as I´ve developed a relationship with the people who own the shops. Something that has been very fulfilling is when I am asked if I know how to use the product and am told to explain how to use it and impress the employees. That is how you build a relationship and show love is with acceptace with food from other cultures. I am so lucky to have the cultures in my moderate-sized town. The flavors grow on you and its such an experience. Thank you for this video.

If you add beer into the batter it makes it crispier! Also, when the bottom starts to not stick anymore my mom taught me to flip them over for a few seconds so you don’t have to ever worry about the middle not being cooked all the way. It’s helpful for the first few batches when the cast iron isn’t as hot too!

amerrzz47 how much beer do you recommend?
@amerrzz47
@amerrzz47 6 жыл бұрын
I'm not really sure because when my family makes it we make a huge batch of it so they'll use a whole beer sometimes. You don't want to add too much or else the texture is going to get too thin. My best suggestion is just add about half a can or so, and pour a test one and see if you like the consistency. I've had a batch where my mom used a lot of beer even tho the texture was fine and it still tasted really good honestly lol.

Can we just take a moment to applaud David for his pronunciations? I always try to teach my friends Vietnamese, but they never pronounce it write because of the thick accent behind the language, but David is a pro. Is this what he gained from dating all of those Viet girls lmao?
