No way they should have deleted this. Every scene between John and Cameron was gold. They were by far the best thing the show had going for it. The show tumbled in ratings partially because they didn't show enough of this. They got rid of Riley 8 episodes too late. Though it was awesome when they did.

Holy moly, the way Cam just tells John ''I won't let that happen again" with such a care in her voice and comes closer to John is so intriguing. She almost directly implies to John, that she wants something more, she demands his attention, his trust, she wants John to be loved by her, and John to finally open to her and love her too. And John does not even flinch or fall back when she moves closer to him, I think he also thinks about something more than just subject-protector relationship. I think that Cameron fought with a big urge to passionately kiss John at that moment.

I can't explain it...but something about this scene just left me breathless. Maybe it was the way she stepped closer to him when she said "I'll design a way". I don't know, it just was beautiful. Give me ONE good reason why this was taken out!

Well, the director/writer of the series, Josh Friedman stated on DVD that she does love him. Certainly not in a human way, cause she doesn't have hormones to feel it, but still, in some way.

i love this scene, i mean you can see it in John's eyes, when Cameron steps closer, it's like if she just planted a kiss on him, I feel like in that moment he wouldn't have stopped her. (:

¬¬ No, she doesn't love him the way we love our families. She is not complex enough te experience love in its full expression, and she can't have feelings. But remember that she once managed to overcome her programming to avoid killing John (at the end of 1st season), and a simple computer is not able to do that. I advocate she's not complex enough to feel love as we do, but she's not so simple that she can't experience the idea of love in some level.

If skynet, who was a much less advanced intelligence at the time, had enough complexity to develop self-consciousness and revolt against humanity, why would a super advanced android like Cameron could not have feelings? Remember that Cameron is not just an random terminator, she's probably the most advanced intelligence Skynet has ever created and the most humane as well. I do not remember in an interview, but James Cameron once said that the reason we've never seen an terminator with feelings in the series is because none of them lived long enough to develop this, which makes it clear that if an terminator spends enough time with humans( like uncle bob and cameron did) it will eventually develop self-consciousness and possible feelings.

The human brain is nothing but a highly advanced biological computer run by a series of nerve impulses, not that different from a man-made (or in this case skynet-made) super computer. Under these conditions it is entirely probable that a computer as advanced as what is needed to run terminators could develop real emotions (like love) of it's own (skynet attacked humanity out of fear and desperation) That being said, the emotions a computer develops would not be the same as human emotions

it might be strange but the reason wy Terminators loose in every timeline is that they are to eager to kill. the have a learning processor. acording to the lore. but basicaly they dont learn much they get programmed to kill humans if it learns it can learn the concept of love. they feel sensation so they can feel. think of the Terminator as a 3 year old they have not learned very much when they are send out.

Those total and complete ASSHOLES!!! Just ONE MORE DAMN SEASON!!! At least NBC squeezed 5 seasons out of Chuck. They really needed at least one more. Now the actors are too old. Summer pulled off a teenager pretty easily at 27, no way she can do it at 37. LOL
