i think by using mantras we structure the water in our body, that is why the vibration you send into your body while chanting is very important, like a computer where you install windows on it

Sounds like you’re on the verge of a major achievement. Padmasambava mentions the day when the purified element of water begins to shine. This is probably what you are experiencing. But I’m not a guru, just a loving practitioner.

Yes the whole point of meditation is to "anchor" the thought somewhere so it doesn't "drift." Because once it drifts it goes to bad places. Either it goes to the past remembering bad things, or gets ahead of itself and worries about the future. That's where depression, anger, fear and anxiety comes from. So you anchor it to something so it "stays" in the "present." So you can do breath meditation and anchor your thought to the inhales and exhales. Or you can chant mantras and anchor your thought to the chanting. There are other techniques too like anchoring the thought to scents and sensations. That's why there are meditation incenses and scented candles, etc. Or you can do combinations. Whatever suits you.
