This is refreshing after having a life changing trip with the intention of “finding myself” and boy, I did. It was intense but also beautiful! Buddhism and yoga are the ONLY faiths that even touch properly on the elements of existence, consciousness, and the soul.

I agree. It's amazing to see these things were realized so long ago while science and psychology are still fumbling around the dark.
@evisemiri81363 жыл бұрын
I'm a Buddhist but saying those are the only faiths is just wrong. Every religion deals with the same thing, even though they have partly different goals. Buddhism is nice because it is very clear and concise

He died from colon cancer. Unfortunately for us not to meet with him in this life. It is truth even he is not here any more but his teachings are and will be with us forever. Apply his teachings to our daily life! He will be back and we all pray for him to come back as this world needs him and we do miss him and need him too.

I heard a resemblance with Tsem Rinpoche voice very similar to Bruce Lee. We all have the fighting spirit for the good fight ( dharma work) and also why I love these Entities that enforce the teachings, they are fierce and ferocious. So with that being said I know that is the tenacity of my friend guru TSEM RINPOCHE came from love not just vain audacity and for this example we love you guru. Godspeed to all of you

I’m glad this teacher recommended medicine for depression. There are a substantial amount of evangelical Christians who are okay with psychological meds but a lot of evangelical Christians are very stubbornly against things like Prozac and other psychological meds. Even though this teacher talks about things I’m unsure of such as ghosts I’m so happy he did not rule out clinical depression.

Based on what I've seen from the Buddha, if he says there are ghosts I'm willing to accept it. 🤣

@@insalubriousdithyramb1742 I get what you're saying. Christians always talk badly about people who believe in ghosts but the Bible directly indicates that ghosts are real when King Saul summons one.

@@Danielsan1223 ssris make you worse longterm. They completely change your brain. Once you come off, you will be worse than before you started with a host of "changes" with their own side-effects. Reversing them might not be possible or could take years and can be dehabilitating. You should google "surviving antidepressants forum". It's not the magic solution whatsoever that it is touted as. It's a deadly double-edged sword and should be avoided at all costs if possible. You don't just "jump on" and "jump off" when you're done. Its not an advil pill. It's a lifetime commitment to the permanent changes to your brain that will make you MORE sensitive to anxiety and depression in the future. It's not worth it. Take it from the millions who are not able to get "off" or have been trying for years and their worlds is falling apart. Don't listen to the ones who are "still on it" and drugged out of their minds telling you "its ok. It works for me" as most end up realizing "hey my meds do not work anymore"...then have to go see the psych and cycle through another SSRI praying to stabilize again...this happens over and over until you run out of options or are just sick of it and try to come off...Then you realize the changes in your brain are practically irreversible and you are worse off. You've been warned.

thank you for the video. Since Tsem is the visionary for Kechara house and he died in 2019, so it would be at least another 20 years before his reincarnation is of age to continue the work. if his mission is to create a centre here, why is he gone so early? it bothers me because the teaching has dissonance with his short life here. can someone enlighten me please?

For Buddhist, usually we are adviced to do purification practices like 35 Confessional Buddhas, prostrations, Vajrasattva, chant mantras, hold vows or even help to clean temple. Don't reinforce negative thoughts. Don't ever say you can't change or do. Cut negative habituations and don't give up benefitting others, holding vows, respecting parents, taking care animals, giving to the poor and many more. This Teacher has mentioned in this talk especially 1:26:00. Do listen back.. 😅

In my opinion, some karma can be mitigated, but not totally escaped! For example, a person with severe mental health issues, their karma may be mitigated, but they still have to pay a chunk of it off (like half of it)!
