Film companion had created a list of best albums of all time guide (1965) ranks #1, pyaasa (1957) ranks #2, lagaan (2001) was ranked #11 highest in 21st century. Dev d(2009) second highest #23, delhi 6(2009) third highest #25. Though dil se (1998) had ranked #5 making it the highest ranked modern day album.
