A detail many must have missed. We know Yashna's marriage here is all her mother's idea. But the director also wanted to emphasize on the wedding dress of Yashna. It is very different compared to the clothes that she usually prefers. During her wedding with Nani, she's very happy and she's seen wearing a simple cotton saree, just like all the other outfits she wears in the movie. It shows that her mom selected whom she would marry and what she would wear, down to the smallest of details because Yashna wasn't interested in the wedding to even shop for her wedding dress. Brilliant Director!
