My ranking of the Wii tracks in 8dx: 11. Moo Moo Meadows - honestly while this track is gorgeous and has some of the best music in the game, it's still just an oval but not bad. 10. Wario's Gold Mine - honestly I was never big on this even in Wii, I love the theme and concept but the execution was always just ok to me. The 8 version feels a bit nerfed to me and I don't know how I feel about the pots being spin boosters. 9. Koopa Cape - I gotta be honest remakes of this track never did anything for me. I feel they misinterpret what made the og great. This is the only Wii track I feel they truly butchered in my eyes. I want the enclosed pipe, fast water stream and electric spinner back! Doesn't help that I feel this was one Wii fan favorite that didn't rank super high for me even back in Wii, even though I thought it was great but that just shows how highly I think of wiis nitro line up. 8. Daisy Circuit - a great track that was nice to see again. While simple it has a fun and enjoyable layout. Plus the sunset is gorgeous even in BCP graphics. 7. Moonview Highway - I used to hate this track but it grew on me over time. I think the visual glow up in 8 is stunning and it was a great surprise track. Glad the bob-omb cars were just as scary as ever. Wish the traffic was a little bit more intense though. 6. Grumble Volcano - a deeply underappreciated track and I feel this version absolutely did it justice. The visuals are stunning and I love how the track becomes more challenging with each lap. Not enough tracks so this in my opinion. 5. Coconut Mall - admittedly this track does unfortunately suffer from wave 1 syndrome but I feel this track is not as bad as some make it out to be. My biggest gripes are the lack of miis and other charming elements of the og. Gameplay wise I adore this version of coconut Mall and glad wave 2 fixed the cars even if they aren't as bothersome as the og. It's still coconut Mall at heart and that's all I need. 4. Mushroom Gorge - in my opinion the most complete version of mushroom gorge. The gap cut is still here which is amazing. Always a fun time. Admittedly as someone who isn't mega competitive I don't usually do well here but glad it's back. 3. DK Summit - a brilliant track with all shortcuts maintained. I always have a good race here even though I suck at it. The music is still just as great as ever too! 2. Maple Treeway - always a favorite of mine and was over the moon to see it back. I love the way it looks and plays. It feels exactly what I wanted a modern version of this track to be. 1. Rainbow Road - what can I say it's rainbkw road and it's just as fun and exciting as ever. Only nitpick are some areas could do away with rails but still a fantastic wonderful track! Thank the Lord they didn't make it a 1 or 2 lap race!

l'm honestly surprised that we got 11 Wii courses on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (more courses from that game than the amount of courses from other games)!! I thought we would get more 3DS courses than courses from other games because Mario Kart 7 was the game that came before Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!! Wow! Most of the Wii tracks look so much better in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! I've been playing Mario Kart Wii for 15 years and I still play it today! But after seeing this, I may consider getting the Switch even though I'm already enjoying the non-deluxe version of this game for the Wii U. It only took me 3 months to complete the base version with 3 star gold in every cup in the 50, 100, 150CC and Mirror classes and at least 1 star in every 200CC cup

My rankings of every Wii track in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: #1 Rainbow Road - This rainbow road is my favorite rainbow road out of any mk game, because it provides a good level of challenge, and good way to end the dlc with this track. Even if the made the track easier in this game, its still fun to enjoy in this game, and is still AMAZING! #2 Koopa Cape - This track is one of my favorites on the Wii, and while its still good here, it just not as good as it is on the Wii, because the MK7 and Tour versions ruins the track by just having the tunnel section empty by making it underwater and having nothing in it, and thats what the 8 version did as well. While the 8 deluxe version of the track may be better than the Wii version in a lot of areas, but it could've topped the Wii version f it wasnt for removing the electrical things in the tunnel section, because its like bread and butter where the butter is the tunnel section of the track which makes the Wii version better, but other than that, the 8 deluxe version is still good, just couldnt top the Wii version. #3 Maple Treeway - This track is good in this version, but a problem I have with this version is the removal of the bridge at the end and is now a glider section just like the MK7 and Tour versions, and another complain is kinda the graphics, there some awkward looking trees and the color of the leaves seems too colorful, which kinda ruins what makes the track look beautiful, but at least the track is still good as always, could've been better. #4 DK Summit - This track is the best mk track with halfpipes to ever exist, the track is great like in the Wii, music is great in this version too by keeping the 1 2 3 4 part of the music. But a problem I have with not only this track but as well as 8 deluxe, is the halfpipes, the camera angle of the halfpipes are not good, and the part of the track where the gap jump is, if you fall between the gap jump, Lakitu will take a long time to pick you up which kills your speed, and that's kinda a problem, another problem is that they removed the fog, and I honestly kinda liked the fog in the Wii version because it makes you kinda blind sighted when driving down the track and I thought that was cool, because it creates some challenge when driving down the summit. Other than that, great track! #5 Mushroom Gorge - This version of the track is probably the best version of Mushroom Gorge since it provides the optional glider in the left side of the mushroom when youre inside the cave, as well as keeping the gap jump in the end of the track. Not really a complain in this version since its the best version of Mushroom Gorge, but it just can't top most great Wii tracks in the BCP. #6 Coconut Mall - There's somewhat to complain in this version of Coconut Mall, but let's start with the positive side. This track still keeps the fun and great layout as always, and the music is still a banger. Now the negative side of the track is that the mall looks completely different because it took the same art direction as the Tour version, which I honestly liked the art direction in the Wii and MK7 version because it had more charm, and it kept the chese cutter stairs (which is what I call them) unlike the switch version removing the chese cutter stairs, and they are no longer stairs. Another complain is that the escalators look more like ramps than just regular escalators by just adding them arrow signs if they go up or down, sure there where arrow signs in the escalators in the MK7 version, but they werent as noticable as it is here. My main complain with this version is that the cars instead of moving left to right, it only spins like every 10 seconds unlike the Wii version, even the MK7 version did the same as the Wii, and the track here kinda looks as bad as Toad Circuit. Aside from those complains, its still a great track here only because it's Coconut Mall, but is worse than the Wii version by some what a lot. #7 Wario's Gold Mine - This track is great for its challenging in the Wii version, while it still does kinda mantains that, it just makes it easier by making the carts anti gravity which is 8's main gimmick, altough I will say this track looks very good, so hats off for that. #8 Moonview Highway - This track was a great traffic course in Wii, while is still is here, the cars move slower which could remove part of the challenge, altough I will say most of the fun of this track comes when playing it online, but still a good course. #9 Grumble Volcano - Good track, the visuals look better than Wii's version, this version's intensity level is where it should be, and the idea of a volcano track where everything slowly falls apart as you make progress makes good intensity. Overall, solid track! #10 Daisy Circuit - I was kinda upset seeing this track return for the BCP because I thought that we wouldn't get Wii Rainbow Road since we were already getting a Wii track for Wave 6. Other than that, the track is decent as always, sure this track is a circuit track, but its one of the best circuit tracks by giving it how unique it is far from others, and I think that adding a glider ramp in the stairs shortcut was a smart move, overall, decent track. #11 Moo Moo Meadows - Without a shock this is the weakest Wii track in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and surprisingly it's decent here, and better than the Wii version, I just think the track is simple in terms kf layout, I will say visuals look phenominal in this version and this track kinda hits hard sometimes. Im talking this good about this track and the fact that this is the weakest Wii track is saying a LOT.
