This is not only the most beautiful model railroad I’ve ever seen in my entire life, it’s probably the most beautiful work of art.

Not only a spectacular layout but Gary gave us a great tour. Simple speak so the layman can appreciate the complexity of this magnificent achievement. It’s also endearing in that Gary seems like an awesome guy. For once I regret living in the east coast. Officially the greatest garden railroad I’ve seen.

Just got to watch the video. This is a spectacular layout with beautiful scenery. I was privileged to do an ops session there a few years ago. Gary is a great host and very willing to share insights and tips. Thanks for showing this.

the pink foam for the bottom footings of the trestle is a good idea that I will do because the rotting thing is what has prevented me from making my trestles. Have a lot of raised track.

Inspiring layout. Amazed the structures have held up so well outdoors. I have begun raising the bar on my line and this has provided me with a jolly good prod to get out there.

This railroad has captivated my mind for over 7 years now! It’s been practically driving me crazy that I couldn’t find any more information on the Baker and grande rondel so I’m so estatic to get this view through TSG multimedia! Please when you get the chance make more videos on this wonderful railroad!

I absolutely love the old grist mill on this layout. My family built one in the mid-late 1870's and operated it until the early 1930's when it was washed away by a flood. I've been thinking about how I could incorporate a mill like this on a future layout that I'm planning. Amazing job Gary!

Why no signals?
@joshuabrown6791Ай бұрын
Most narrow gauge never had signals, especially in the era he's modeling! I've heard stories of the odd signal used on Canadian narrow gauge from around that time but it was extremely rare. If you ever visit the Durango Silverton, Cumbres and Toltec, Georgetown Loop, or so on here in Colorado, we still don't use signals. It's only our modern Class 1 RR's that do and that's how it's always been.
