I’ve never been able to really understand math because I grew up being a military kid , but with your videos I actually grasped the concept and I now found it so easy to understand! I took the TSI for the second time and was able to pass all thanks to you! "I chose it as a number to multiply the entire equation by because I knew if I multiplied 2s x -2 it would give me -4s. That way when I combined 4s and +4s they would eliminate. Thats the goal here to eliminate either the d's or the s's"

@@graciously_etiiiiyes i took it yesterday her questions are very similar you’ll see a lot of algebra questions on there , initially it’ll start with 20 questions if you pass that then you’ll continue to the next section if you have any , but if you didn’t pass that part another 48 questions will appear

Hi Ms. Amber , i took my accuplacer test for the first time, at GCC and i past my essay part in reading but i still got a 240 needed a 245 so i dont ave to take for nursing, and my math part i got a 245 need a 250 to not take. im having a hard time with the graphs questions and the questions with figuring out what is m or p n things like that and some percentages.. im taking it again next thursday remote..im just gona continue to study ...trying to remember when its time but watching and learning is great

I have watched over and over and just can't seem to understand, and when I open the tsi accuplacer, the questions are way different. I may just need to take remediation classes, but I'm not confident I can pass the accuplacer practice or the actual tsi test.

i always thought that on question #4 you had to add both of them to zero and the signs would change so i thought the answer was c but is it b because the question is only looking for the factors ??

The only question I got wrong was question #2. I answered B. But you explained it to where I understood. I didn’t take into account that in the equation, “Y= -x + b” that m= -1. That would’ve given me the correct answer rather than guessing.

On the first question, I am so confused about how you decided to multiply by -2? The rest of the problem was simple from there but if the 2d was 4d would you then choose to multiply by -4? I read the comments but still don't understand.

Hi! So the reason why she multiplied that whole equation by -2 was so that the original 3s in the equation would then become -6s which would lead for the s to be eliminated which is the ultimate goal! Hope this helps:)
