I wish people were more open minded to adoption. My husband and I only have one child our son and we were diagnosed with secondary infertility, we choose to adopt my daughter. Our kids are now 21 and 10. We live in a city where there is a lot of Hmong people and we were able to adopt through the foster care system. You will be surprise how many Hmong kids are waiting to be adopted. You just need to start being foster parents. People think you won’t love your adoptive kids but you really do. I love my two kids no more no less, why because I want them. Let this story be a lesson to others who think and blame the other spouse. There is other ways to become parents, please seek it. Second wives aren’t the answer.

Why do people always assume it's the wife who can't have kids? This dude used his infertility to cheat and married a second wife because his ego was too big. He could have saved all these headaches by just getting himself checked. He refused adoption and can't love other women's kids but he would rather his second wife cheat on him and have kids with someone else. There are other ways of having a family if you have an open mind, but most Hmong people only care about wanting kids who are their blood. They can't see beyond that.

Many men now a days have low sperm count even if healthy and difficult to impregnate his wife. Do get checked to resolve any questions instead of being afraid to confront the truth. Adoption is always an option. Had a sister who was young and got pregnant - we helped her find a Hmong couple who now is the parents of this child and it’s so wonderful to see the child thrive in a place he otherwise couldn’t have.

Me and my husband been married for 19years. We don’t have kids… My husband and I came to terms about not ever conceiving, I pray he don’t change his mind of me and our life…. In order to move on….
