I am disappointed that you are appearing to be shilling for Tesla. You are not reporting that FSD V12 is only available to select users. I subscribe to FSD three weeks ago and what I have today is FSD V11.3 I have contacted Tesla several times and no one can tell me when we will receive V12. I have cancelled my subscription.

Couple yrs for Delaware appeal alone. He needs a NEW pay pkg, hopefully out of TX this time...etc.

TSLA has recouped former lows from 5/2 is a big positive in my mind technically as this makes the entire consolidation an ABC corrective pullback which now should be followed by a move back above late April highs near 199. I expect that a push up to 228-235 is underway into mid-June. From Mark Newton, and I think that’s pretty accurate.

I would argue that Tesla's financial discipline, which includes very low debt accumulation while investing an oversized fraction of revenue (out of pocket) to grow exponentially, puts them in a class by themselves. The longer they hold to this heretofore unseen strategy, the more revenue streams from paid-off factories will come online. In simple terms, their growth rate is masked according to normal short term measures.

This was better than usual. Loved the intelligent perspective from LPF and the Canadian investment mgr. Don’t hate me I struggle with names. I super loved his perspective and the rebuttal was good but I like the market guys a bit more as they add perspective the Tesla bulls don’t. Ironically he said the numbers don’t have to show up “yet” but basically his explanation was the numbers has to show up. I get the discount but for it to lessen the “probability” has to decrease AKA the numbers have to show up. Not dogging on the guy or anyone. It the way the market works. Loved his take on FSD 12. Honest feedback and makes sense it doesn’t move the stock

A great post, thank you. Real sustained jump in the stock price will be real proof of profits flooding in. The market is usually correct. It's not saying Tesla is shit, the market adjusted the price way down after jumping up, just when I entered my 7 figure position. I am now waiting for years and it has me ill at times but I've learned to deal better with it. Everone saying, even 3 years ago, that market should be $1000+. The market wont rise to wait years for earnings. Maybe 6 months ahead? I don't know but I'm constantly chewing on my tongue, hoping and waiting.

Excellent discussion, and thanks everybody for the great insights. Elon’s and Tesla’s mission has always been my “North Star” when trying to understand their actions, and we know that robotaxis have 5x-10x the mission impact that individually owned vehicles do. Robotaxis have been front-of-mind for Elon and Tesla for 8 years now, and once it was obvious that FSD would be solved then Elon knew his duty to humanity was to massively accelerate the robotaxis program. As Steve Jurvitson once commented when interviewing Elon, when you are mission-driven and execute well then profits will follow, as will the share price eventually.

Exactly. Robotaxi is not a stock mover on 8/8. It’s a much longer ramp to gain trust adoption and scale. This is a multi year ramp.

@@Tjmalloy2 Why years to ramp? Elon has been saying next year for the last six years. If he truly believed that, they have researched the laws and understand how to put it on the road as fast as possible. Things like building the app or a command center for handling the cars would have already been discussed and planned out, if they have not, then they should be fired. This is the hopium I am taking. I have no proof just bits and pieces of evidence. 1. FSD is getting very good, and Elon is saying to wait to see what is next, by the end of June it will be shiny and new. 2. I keep hearing about all of these cars parked and Tesla's inventory is climbing. So, is it inventory or are they stockpiling? Think about it, if they have 46,000 cars in "inventory" they could put 10,000 cars in four cities on 8/8. 3. What they need are charging stations, someplace in each of the cities that can handle 10,000 cars a day charging. From what I understand is that they made a large parking area with chargers in the mega factory in Austin.... Maybe, that is what it is for. I know I might be some dope, but it's some good stuff.

@@ExecutiveZombie Agreed! But Simon no doubt is feeling that the "old-money" is aligned to a narrative that hates Elon as he won't play nice with those running the narrative. It is more than those old-money narrative based elites not seeing the pay off from Tesla's advancements, it is they are against what they can't control. But, if Tesla's numbers (even with the narrative based folks pushing Tesla down) are able to achieve / complete those advancements the old money might jump on for a bit to still try to maintain some control. This is the same thinking as Bill Gates continuing to have a short Tesla position. He wants Elon to fail as Elon won't support Bill's interests which effectively is attack on humanity for profit.

@@lukevo6485, unions are generally important to workers, though that's not always the case. I don't think a union would benefit Tesla, however workers should decide whether a union will benefit them. Worker's right to organize is protected by law. Personally, I've been on both sides. I worked as a union member in a deep red right to work state. Our wages and benefits were just marginally better than those of non-union workers. Later I worked for a non-union oil tool manufacturing company in deep red right to work Texas. It was the greatest company I ever worked for. Their pay and benefits were far better than the industry average. I worked for them until I retired. Non-union companies that treat their employees like the company I worked for are rare.

There’s more value to the bottom line if Tesla sells FSD license as b2b than to ordinary citizens. Tesla should start looking at any industry that uses a driver and start creating applications to disrupt them - starting with a robo-school bus system to replace all city owned school buses that are a major CO2 polluter.
