WOW! How beautiful our Latvian guys looking! BUT - the most important thing is not to loose concentration in this win, which was always a big problem in Latvian teams... Latvia, also in pro level had wins over all champion countries, but eventually did not finish on top. The magic breakthrough was a 2023. bronze in World championships. But overall - it is around 7-9th place...which I think is still amazing for 1,8M country where those who have this priviledge(in Latvia it is priviledge - it is not affordable for normal family) to play hokey, are also quite motivated and determined, also to not just play in best leagues, but be best in those leagues.

As a Canadian, I could happily cheer for every team except the USA. Not sure what's wrong with your brain.

"We expected to witness history" i.e. you expected Canada to beat Latvia. But what's "history" about that?
@CharlesLHead8 сағат бұрын
I had a feeling more in the game that Latvia would some reason could win this game. Canada was really trying to get that beautiful goal. Don't get too fancy Canada or you won't win... this was a wake up call 🤙

I’ll give credit to the players, but I know where the real credit goes because I’ve lived it………..and that’s the coaching. These kids played the system the coaches put in place and executed it to perfection. Watch out for Latvia now. The have confidence.
