One of the best centers in the league for reason. He maybe not put up the gaudy point totals of a McDavid, Mackinnon, Draisaitl, goal totals of Matthews, but he helps you win games.

Theres a case to be made he is the best player in the world in my opinion. All of his teammates and former teammates say it. Most complete player in NHL if nothing else.

The reason you guys find it so difficult to find a “key” to success with the panthers is because there isn’t one, I figured of all people you guys would know there is no single key to success in hockey. The panthers are a great TEAM, they make it work because they play so well together. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. From the coach to the goalie to the captain to everyone in between every part of the panthers is functioning well.

Gotta say that, regardless of who wins the cup this year, I think that the teams that are left at this point are the most interesting in a long time. Also, whichever franchise will win, would deserve it.

Yes I totally agree, and all 4 of these franchises haven’t won a cup in AT LEAST 25 years so it will be well deserved regardless of who it is. They are all playing great clean hockey (with some exceptions) and they all clearly want it. For a hockey fan you couldn’t ask for more. Every game is a nail biter. I will say I think that Conner McDavid, Sam Bennet and of course Matt Rempe are pushing the boundaries of the hockey *I* like to watch. McDavid and Bennet are great players they don’t need to be so dirty, and McDavid really needs to keep control of his stick it’s becoming a pattern with him whether it’s accidental or intentional. In Rempes case I mean that guy is just a total loser and a disgrace to the sport, no talent just a brute put out to hurt the other team, reminds me of the post Gretzky era up to the lockout, an era I did not enjoy. As for dallas I think they actually play a very clean game for the most part, in game 2 against the oilers they didn’t draw a single player conduct penalty, they only had one for delay of game. I’m rooting personally for the panthers so no bias.
