I'm not even joking. If Nichuskin was actually on PEDs or cocaine while leading the scoring with seven goals against winnipeg, that is completely unfair, and Colorado deserved to lose. He was the best player in that series for the Avs. It's a shame they didn't test him 2 weeks ago before the 1st round. 2 of their games against Winnipeg would have been losses without him.

How do you know he wasn't tested during that series ? It could easily take a week or 2 after a test for that to become enforced - I would hope in the case of a positive test there is a thorough review to make certain every procedure is followed perfectly - that can take a few days . As far as your presumption it is an unfair advantage - you don't have enough information - if it were PED - you have a valid point . If its cocaine/crack as has been rumored - not so much . The simple fact is you/ we don't know enough about the specifics

@@pjpredhomme7699 I have to get drug tested randomly for my job by the federal government regulators. The results take less than 1 hour. The NHL is no Mickey Mouse organization, so they will guaranteed have a rapid testing being a professional sport company. Also, even if it's cocaine and not PEDs, it can still give off a high and feeling of invincibility, which can enhance someone's adrenaline and efforts as funny as it sounds. Either way, insider sources say he wasn't tested until this week, so it is what it is now, i guess. Winnipegs loss is Dallas gain. Lol

Av's fan here. yeah Val betrayed the team but that's not why they are losing. They have been fragile all year and even though they can come back from being behind 3 or 4 goals they also lose leads very easily and their scoring is in spurts. They are not impressive with regards to the playoffs.

Seriously ?? the book on GG is very clear - he gets a team going well - that can not be denied - but once they get their 2nd round thru the league - where the other teams get to study them - and counter what they are doing - they are stuck and from there have never been able to adjust. That pattern has been repeated over and over and over again. Great guy - players love him up until they get stuck and are getting beat all the time and can't seem to do anything about it. If you watched the Rangers playoffs last year - they had pretty much quit on if not the coach certainly the system. The Rangers made a great move going out and getting Laviolette - obviously he has done a lot with that team and he has a 5 yr shelf life LOL
