Making the point of how few games he has played by odonkey makes no sense. We know he can play.. if he has that few games then he has a lot of years to bring to the table before he falls off from being over played. UNLESS.. HE gets injured. But that is the case for any player signing long term. He should take the security of 8 and 8 though. That's secured money. The bruins are not the leafs... they won't give in like the leafs do.

Don Sweeney stated in the press conference directly -"both goalies wanted 55 games" They had to make a decision. They counted on Jeremy keeping his word. At least taking a bridge deal. But Jeremy does not want to go through arbitration again, because Bruins will open up his rosters, whip out a bunch of footage to prove...... His schedule was coddled, you might start noticing he took on top teams but did not take on their top players!? he doesn't control rebounds, doesn't help forward lines. Cannot use the boards to quickly the transition the puck up through the neutral zone to create breakaway situations And he doesn't have international experience. Which is crucial to being a successful goalie - USA trained goalies get nowhere. They have to get international experience to be completely developed in this league Quick got Olympic experience and Tim Thomas left the nhl, went to Europe and came back Jeremy needs to go to Europe But he will never command Price's $10 million dollar aav. Which has been a major problem in montreal, paying 4 roster goalies... Price, alan, montembault & primeau they finally got rid of Allen, price is not coming off of ltir but they still have to pay him just working their way out of it with their rebuild.
