There is no need to. Sure it would have been the icing on the cake, but a tie against CAN is great for a country like ours. The way it happened feels like a victory and probably the greatest thing we will ever accomplish at this level. So proud for our boys ❤ And yes, we all know its not the best of the best from CAN, still there are some lvls between this 2 teams. Just unbelievable!

As a lifelong hockey fan who also played the game for 20+ years (lower leagues), and due to my love of the game, I have to give huge props to the Austrians here. That 5-unanswered goal run was simply amazing. I can definitely see where even though Canada won, this was a win for Austria on a large scale. Austria is one of those countries that's not been known for its strong hockey, so it's great to see them performing this well. I hope they eventually become a powerhouse like Sweden, Czechia, Finland, etc.

He hasn't played the game you need to play in the playoffs to win cups or rounds. I guess you're a fan who only cares about in seasons stats. He's too soft to lead a team to the ultimate prize, hence why they're trying to get rid of his slow ass deteriorating game. So hopefully he gets traded next season 🤞

Maybe I don't know what an "unanswered" (or an "answered") goal is, but I find it bonkers that these goals in these sitations are described as "unanswered" goals. No, these goals _are_ the answers to Canada's goals. These are the answer goals, not unanswered goals. If Austria hadn't scored these goals, then Canada's goals would've been the unanswered goals because Austria wouldn't have answered them.

Please investigate this game and betting action before 3rd period. Canada let them score 5 goals and stopped playing. They were like another team in first 2 periods

its just because they stopped playing... happens all the time on worlds against weaker teams... 99% of the time opponents does get come backs like this tho

Maybe it’s not the Maple leafs but Tavares. Really took him multiple playoff and tournament games to score a goal
