Wow! I needed this! I've been measuring my PB tbsp by rounding them out not flattening them.

I might just start using teaspoons now because let's be real, I'm not always going to get a perfectly level tablespoon, but even if the teaspoon has a little extra, I feel like it'll be ok.

So consuming a TSP of peanut butter with my oatmeal is a completely adequate amount?
@X.B.T.O3 жыл бұрын
59 grams of peanut butter isn’t even 2 servings. You should have made this about jelly because of it’s water content and how it’s more easily miscalculated because of how much 1 tablespoon weighs. Peanut butter doesn’t have nearly as many calories as you’re making it out like. That heaping spoon of peanut butter you showed is probably the amount I use on a pbj sandwich. The amount you showed is about roughly 320 calories. With jelly? Let’s say jelly is another 150 calories. So then we’re looking at 470 in total. Add 2 slices of bread. That brings it up to 580-590. So we have just under 600 calories for a very large peanut butter and jelly sandwich. That’s almost the exact same calorie content as a McDonald’s quarter pounder with cheese. A double quarter pounder with cheese and bacon is almost 1000 calories. So if we’re talking just the peanut butter by itself (I don’t even usually put that much on sandwiches,) that’s a pretty filling 320 calorie snack. I mean that’s a lot of food. Stop exaggerating something that isn’t really a big deal.

Dude, why are you on almost every peanut butter weighing video commenting essentially the same thing hahahaha omg

Check your math. I think your final values should half (2xspoons per serving). Still a huge amount of cals in such a small amount of food. Great vid!

In a Nutshell: A Mountain spoon full of peanut butter is essentially 2x the serving ( Aka 380-400 Calories) Good night from Los Angeles✨🏝

Should have done this with water. Searches aren't looking for the weight capacity of peanut butter. They want the volume in millimeters. I hate to have to downvote this but it should be obvious we wanted volume data. Teaspoons are 5ml and tablespoons like you showed are 10ml or 15? The British call serving spoons tablespoons
