As another guy mentioned, there are kits available to connect the PHP carburetor choke with the original pull knob. Removing the side cover is a pain in the somewhere, even worse for people with later models at which you even need to lifte the seat to release the side cover.

Where do I get that intake manifold? Does it work on lml Stella?

Hi, what boyson dual stage reed would you recommend on a malossi 221 X360 reed. I was watching one of your videos on the LML 150 and was wondering what size boyson petals to replace my one in the X360. Thank you for your content it's really good. My vespa is a malossi mhr 221

I got to ride that P200 this weekend. Lots of power through all the gears and the braking and suspension were on point. The PInasco shocks are really nice. Performance and comfort. I think I like the split tubeless rims better than the SIP tubeless I run on my Rally, but that might be due to the Heidenau tires.

hello from Greece.Quick question.I Have a stock px200 engine with a pinasco touring exhaust and no other mods.I see that you are using a PHBH carb,I was thinking about PWK 28mm from OKO.Have you ever tried PWK?What is your opinion on that?I do not intent to do other mods such as Malossi piston or a crankshaft,just want to play with the stock cylinder and piston as you did.

How did you decide on raising the exhaust timing to 164*? You mentioned standard exhaust timing at 155*-111*. Is there a formula or does the exhaust manufacturer recommend a setting? How much did you know to open up the piston ports? Is there a recommended width? Thanks!
@ThatScooterThing6 жыл бұрын
Other folks have tested these exhausts extensively, and the Road 2.0 seems to run best in the 25-27 blowdown category (aka intake to exhaust difference of 50-54 degrees)
@giulioex125e76 жыл бұрын
In general, the exhaust timing one of those crucial things where there are no "specific" given numbers to use. Basically raising the exhaust port (higher timing) in a 2 stroke engine shifts the torque to a higher rpm. Now this can be ok until a certain amount is reached, because everytime you move the power up (towards more rpm) you lose power in the lower rpms (this is true for all 2 strokes). For every setup you have to take into consideration ALL the variables (what cilinder? What exhaust? What carburettor? What intake timing? What gear ratio? etc) in order to decide IF and HOW MUCH to rise the exhaust port on the cilinder.

Great video, I’ve been following for a long time, thanks for the inspiration! Quick question, did you have any problems with the phbh rubbing on the cylinder cowl? P200E, pinasco intake and the carb doesn’t fully seat, the plastic float box rubs on the cowl. Any suggestions??
@ThatScooterThing5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that is very much a PH carb issue. You can put some foam/cork on the shroud. Or just keep an eye on the floatbowl. It takes many many miles to do some minor damage.

Thanks for the reply and good idea w the cork, can finally put my wine drinking to use on the vespa 😝😝

Good job man! Is there gearing stock? I’ve been thinking about installing t5 4th gear
@ThatScooterThing6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, with the current 225 engine it has it is running a short Pinasco tree with 20 instead of 21 teeth. on the other builds I have finished I pushed for the 36 tooth 4th gear and it is a blast to ride.

Thinking of going reed intake with 30 carb for my p200, it currently has a malossi 210 kit ported, Vespower ignition, 26 delly, and JL pipe. Video on reed and carb setup? Think it's on your LML. Awesome vids!!!! Btw is the install tricky?
@ThatScooterThing7 жыл бұрын
No, the reed installation is rather easy. However, when you move from rotary to reed intake, it would be best to open (dremel, file) the intake so it will benefit from the larger intake surface. Reeds make the bike rather loud, so beware.
