Great video! According to the service manual of 2021 MT-10, the torque setting should be 51ft-lb, not 40ft-lb. Has this been changed for the 2022 model?

There are different torque specs specific to steel class. I believe Yamaha uses bolts made of 12.9 class steel. The longer bolts used in the slider kits are chosen on purpose to be able to deform a certain amount in a crash. These are made from a softer class of steel and require less torque.

Did you support the engine at all, or is starting on the clutch side the trick? Seen some people say the engine shifts when a mounting bolt is removed.

The bike was on a lift and standing perfectly perpendicular to the floor. One bolt at a time is the trick and to make sure your bike is upright.
