Just installed these. The video made it easy and I actually found it fun haha. I like the hyper white running lights

i bought both, front & rear......only to find out i can't put them on the rear.....unless i cut the wires & i don't want to do that.....i do NOT want the tail tidy...so i'll just keep the back 2 signals stock..... but LOVE the front blinkers....my MT07 is blue so i got the BLUE running lights...

I have/had these on my '20 MT-07, they work great. I ended up removing them though since I have another set of turn signals to go with my Brogue setup. Easy install, just make sure you cut the tabs in the back right so it seats properly.

Can you make a video on making the running light work for people outside the US please, i can't find information on how to do this anywhere
@TSTindustries2 жыл бұрын
Being that we do not have a non-US bike it would be tough to depict the process while having all the connectors and configuration that are present in the US bikes. I think the best help I can offer at this time is the Z400, Z650, and Z900 Mech-GTR installations. On those bikes we used a vehicle specific 2 conductor harness converter, and then used a separate connection for running light. Each of the three mentioned above have a different place we connect to so that would do a good job of illustrating what you would be looking for on your bike.

I have another question regarding these blinkers, if i got the hyper white with the Red accent, does it blink amber? Or white?
@TSTindustries Жыл бұрын
Our signals will always blink amber.
@Robocoppat Жыл бұрын
@@TSTindustries so if I go with the hyper white and the Red accent light, what color would my drl be?
@TSTindustries Жыл бұрын
@@Robocoppat you can only choose one color option. The running light (DRL) will be the color choice you select and the signal will always flash amber. Technically you can purchase a second set of running light modules and swap to have a mismatch color set up with your left side being one color and the right being another but your signals will always flash amber and your DRL will be whichever color option you choose.
@Robocoppat Жыл бұрын
Speaking of the running lights, I know hyper white is probably the brightest, however if I stay with the RED DRL, how bright will it shine? Any idea? Thank You.. God Bless..
@TSTindustries Жыл бұрын
@@Robocoppat Red is one of the easiest colors of light to see in the nighttime however, in the day it may get washed out. The amber signal, on the other hand, will be perfectly visible in any scenario.

I bought some aftermarket turn signals but they come with Yellow, black and red wires and as you know the bike wires are black blue ,black and brown, what color goes to what color in this case?
@TSTindustries Жыл бұрын
I can only assume what the aftermarket signal wires mean, and assumptions are not good to follow. Typically on a Yamaha black is ground, anything with blue on a lighting connection is running light, and the brown will be one signal side. The other side should have a green in place of that brown you described. If oyu do want to follow my assumptions anyway give this a go: Black to black, yellow to brown, red to black/blue.

@TSTindustries thank you so much, it didn't work and I purchased you guys 3 wire harness , I still can't figured out and I messed up 2 fuses by trying to connect them , I get the running lights on but can't get the turn signal lights to come on

I love this store and these very informative videos. My question is, if I decide to do it is, do you know how i wire 2 sets of front blinkers? Also, if I bought the integrated taillight, how would I be able to keep the original rear blinkers and use them along with the integrated taillight??
@TSTindustries Жыл бұрын
I don't know what your level of knowledge and experience with installations so it's tough for me to craft an answer. In brief, yes the two sets of signals can be wired in, but if they draw over a certain amount of current the signaling system will start acting up. The newer Yamahas have the signaling controller in the dash so we cannot replace it. If you want to try it with maybe two signal sets in the rear, and one in the front, that may be a good first step. You would leave your OE signals plugged in, and use the green and brown wires from our tail light, having to connect them to the positive in each OE signal lead. I believe those are also green and brown so it will be easy to identify. We will be selling rear Y splitters soon. If you want to wait, those should be available in about a month and will enable plug and play connection of two rear signal sets on modern Yamaha bikes.

@@TSTindustries Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Yes I'm pretty knowledgeable with basic wiring. I know that nowadays everything is L.E.D's. can I ask what is more brighter? 1) mech GTR blinkers or 2) the blinkers that are flush mounted? Like I said before I want to be seen and heard. That's when i got the idea to hook up 2sets of blinkers both front and back. Please notify me when the Y splitter comes out. Thank you

What LED relay did you use on this? You only have a video on the relay for a 2015+ bike, but the connector on mine is different so it's clearly changed with the facelift
@TSTindustries2 жыл бұрын
On the newest gen there is no relay. There is a computerized flash control circuit onboard the bikes electronic package. What we have seen is that with some of these newer Yamahas you just don't need a relay to make your signaling system work with most aftermarket signal lamps. So the good news for you is you have one less thing to spend money on so you can afford more gas 😜

So how do you make these flash like oem on 2021+ ? Mine flash at a very odd pattern with these signals and the led tail light.
