@@azula6792 Just because someone is worthy of something doesn't mean that another can't be worthy as well. Besides, if we're bringing personal views into this I think Ei is not only incapable of handling Makoto's blade but also unworthy. Because 1) She doesn't understand just how much pain and damage she caused. How many died because of her negligence, even though she can't ever undo what has been done, she refuses to acknowledge all those who died in the civil war she started. 2) She practically used Makoto's death as a shield for her actions so she doesn't't have to face the consequences. Just because she endured loss doesn't mean the innocents in her nation have to as well. Trauma is never an excuse for being an ignorant and terrible person.

Just the idea that Ayaka duelled Ayato _for_ responsibility, if I’m understanding this right, that she didn’t just want him to have faith but actually see her competence and growth. Not just that she’s always wanted to help, but also live up to the task depicts her with so much integrity When I found out that she’s never beaten Ayato until now, it makes me cheer and clap whenever I watch it again in reactions~

That leitmotiff is basically telling us that, in Narukami Island, the main protagonists are the shogun, and Ayaka. But yes, her OST is gorgeous. Every time I listen to it, I get all teary eyed.

Something that I really love about the origin of Ayaka’s cryo vision is that because cryo symbolism in the Genshin universe is love, Ayaka’s own ideology of love may be themed around is “share”. Ayaka refuse to let Ayato take the responsibility and pressure all by himself, because that would take a tool on his health and thus may pass away similar to their ancestors of the clan. But to do that Ayaka needed to take action to prove her self-worth to his brother by beating him in a duel. She succeeded in doing so and received her Vision. It goes to show that any family member are not alone and shouldn’t be abandoned and take too much pressure to yourself. There will be those members who are willing to help and support each other to keep the whole family stable. Also, Ayaka’s fondest dream of remembering her mother, Tsubaki, is another slice in of symbolism of love from the cryo vision. In combination with eternity, her love will always be preserved and will never be thawed out. Edit: This may be the reason why this PV trailer despite being the second one of Ayaka for the first time, be one of my favorite PV trailers of all time.

3:21 I don’t think so since in her story, she beat that person in a single strike and it probably would have said if it was Ayato. Plus she was already making ice on the ground before the final swing, but also, her memories “freezing” in her mind, her mother icing over and forever staying preserved to Ayaka is such a beautiful and sad shot, bloody gorgeous 😭

She did beat Ayato in a single strike though, plus the way it's worded sounds like it's someone she had been trying to beat. Also, there's a lot of things in the story that suggest visions aren't needed to manipulate elements or that manipulating elements occur around the same time as obtaining a vision. Beidou is another example where for her lightning struck and then she got her vision

Not just in a single motion, cause that's amost every swordfight, plus it also happened inside a dojo, where she flooded the place with ice flowers and had the vision rest on her blade Idk about Beidou yet but you make it sound like natural lightning, she didn't control it and it struck _because_ she got her vision. Also, arent visions the only way to utilize the elements? Unless youre some celestial being?

@@LISA.WANG. No, visions are not the only way to utilize the elements, which is one of the strange things about Teyvat because many are under the impression that it is. Most examples of this are former human or non-human entities, I think the only example of a human manipulating the elements without a vision or delusion is Signora who uses neither for her flames. Typically single strike means just that, a single strike, not that she won right away. Yes, many unarmored swordfights are just one or two motions, but that discrepancy is more of a problem with how fictional swordfights are depicted. The one major discrepancy is that it apparently occurs "in the middle of the dojo". It's possible that it isn't her vision story after all, but it doesn't really make a lore difference either way, which I guess I can take the blame for bringing up an unnecessary rebuttal in the first place to your comment. We don't exactly see the aftermath of the fight in the video. The visual emphasis on her vision in addition to the similarities to her story is one of the reasons why so many think it is her vision story

@@annaairahala9462 Ah I completely forgot about Signora, thank you 😅 (I realized I forgot to mention I didnt mean monsters like elemental slimes and stuff irrelevant to Ayaka, but thats a good point) I was pretty confident in the 'opening strike' interpretation since it is something that technically _can_ happen and the story was emphasizing her perfectionism, but now I'm split cause of the og Chinese text ☠ Ultimately I agree it doesn't matter and I just think it's a curious topic. If it was Ayato in her vision story it definitely would have said so, and I'm still convinced she already had her vision. The ice was probably for visual flare and an exertion indicator, and the frozen memory motif

Im a little late but here is a cool fact about this trailer. Ayaka literally "froze" her memories of her mom, the fond memories of the past, and thats how she awakened her cryo vision. For her love of her parents and the will to support and help her brother carrying the heavy burden of the Yashiro Comission.

I always loved Ayaka way back when she was first introduced into the story then as a playable character. But sadly at the time? I missed the Ayaka banner all those months ago until 2 days ago that is. See im a f2p girl type. Yeah i admit i spent money here and there but could barely get lucky with the 50/50 pull. Got Eula so close to the end with only 20 hours left and now i FINALLY after all these months of saving my primos. Saving for one day they'd do a reoll of Ayaka and BAM~! After well over 6 months or so I bring Ayaka home 💕 so i know how it is to tear up over Ayaka and the animation. Lord knows i cried when i finally got Ayaka 2 days ago
