It's their real name, and many people aren't closely almost known about the major spoilers that they were clones, yet the Sakura and Sayoran were both parents of the Princess Sakura, and their son Sayoran Li. The purpose of the Tsubasa might have to do with Reed's doings, yet with the help of Yuuko from another dimensional world of XXXHolic its revealed she has the princesses body, and soul thought speaking of that the body of her mom is taken away by one of Reed's servants or men.

Strange how in the japanese dub, Sakura never gets to say she loves Syaoran, she's only able to say "I lo-" before she dies but here, she gets to tell him. Not that I'm complaining I just think its interesting they changed something as pivotal as that.

i AM reading the manga. i accidentally came across this. i just finished the 10th book today. do they come out ok? i hope its like chobits, where i cried at the end cause it was so sad but then everything was okay. IT'D BETTER BE LIKE THAT!!! CLAMP made the only show that made me cry in a LONG time. Jason Liebrecht does well. But I think they mis-picked Monica Rial for Sakura: she doesn't sound right at all. At the start she sounded annoying, now she just sounds flat.

i kind of agree with you on that one, i think her voice was okay, as long as it was sweet and gentle like the character, but in this scene, i was really surprised how she sounded stern and maybe even angry, which did not suit the scene nor her character at all

Nope. Bulls%&t. The dub ruined it. She never gets to actually say "I love you". *SPOILER ALERT* She never gets to tell him she loves him. She just gets to say "I lo- " and she dies. It adds to the intensity of the moment and the whole relationship between them, how she always meant to tell him how she felt but never got to actually say it out loud. If you read the manga, in the newest released chapter, that's when an I love you is said. Go check it out for yourselves if anything n.n

I wachted first the japanises version and after that I wachted the english version. Both are really good, but like the others said, I don't think it was good that Sakura said that she loves Syaoran because of the Manga! Please not reading if you dind't read the manga yet!!!!: 'Cause when the last fight start Clone-Syaoran only hepls Syaoran and the others 'cause he wanted to know how the sentecn ends what Sakura starts to say.

In case you still want an answer 😅, no. The characters are the "same", but it's set in another dimension, like an alternate reality. CLAMP took characters from a lot (or all?) of their mangas and created this story with everyone in it.
