Today my little brother and sister sent me a birthday card. It said "Congratulations" and then a bunch of things they wanted us to do together when I go home. MC: What were the things they said they wanted to do? They wrote a bunch of different things, but the first was to go skiing. Every year, I bring my little brother and we skii down from the top of a mountain. It looks like he wants to do that again this year, too. But, my 7 year old little sister also wrote "Bring me along too!" in a begging way. The brisk feeling of skiing down from the summit of a mountin is something that I think my sister should also get to experience but... Carrying a pair of skiis while also climbing to the top of a mountain is quite difficult. My sister also wrote on the card "You two are always having fun together without me! That's not fair!" which got me a little bit. She's still only seven though, which makes me worried, so I can't bring her... even though I would like to... The first time I skiied from the top of a montain I was over the age of ten. MC: You seem to get along with your siblings well. It's probably because of the age gap. My little brother is 5 years younger than me, and my sister is 9 years younger. My little brother is starting middle school this year, and he's also starting to become a little brat. MC: You really do like your siblings big brother~ !? Don't mess around! --- Story 2 MC: Since you grew up in a snowy country, is there any particular winter sport you are good at? I'm pretty decent at skiing or ice skating, but my number one best is snowboarding. MC: What's good about snowboarding? Well... It's really challenging, which I like. In snowboarding, you're limited to one board, so it's more difficult to keep your balance than with skiis or skates. To be honest, when I first started I would fall off all of the time. But now, I'm pretty good at sliding around. Recently, I've been really into the halfpipe... MC: What's a halfpipe? You don't know? It's were you snowboard in a semi-circle course dug out of snow, and board up the sides, doing a jump and pose in mid-air. Recenty I've been doing a mid-jump technique of grabbing the board. Oh also, snowboarding techniques have kind of weird names. Like, "Roast Beef" and "Chicken Salad". Why they have those names, I don't really know... but it sounds pretty tasty... MC: Yeah, probably really delicious. Right? Ah, it's making me hungry... Right after this interview is over, I'll go grab a bite of some of the party food. --- Story 3 MC: What does it feel like when you are in your wolf form? My thoughts are all the same... but my senses become a little sharper. The one that changes the most is my sense of smell. It's many times stronger than when I'm in human form. When I'm at the foot of a mountain, I can tell what animals are at the top of the mountain just from their smell. Even scents that are left behind by someone who has already passed, I can figure out who was there. Thanks to that, if something dangerous like a bear was close, I'd be able to tell before hand. Pretty useful, huh? MC: That's really amazing! ...Well, to be honest having a really good sense of smell can be a bad thing sometimes. When I'm close to strong smells it makes me dizzy. I'm especially weak to perfume and artificial scents. Inside the school with a lot of people, I don't know what kind of smells I would suddenly encounter. In my other form, I have to be careful. MC: I'd like to hear more. Eh? Other ones? Ah-- alright. When running, if I'm in wolf form it's the best feeling ever. At a running speed of 60~70 Kilometers, in my wolf form I can go father in the same amount of time. Another thing I like is taking advantage of the running speed to land 10 meter jumps. MC: Sounds like a lot of fun. Yeah. Running around at full power, with snow spanning as far as the eye can see is the best feeling. But, on top of a snow mountain, even if I turn into a wolf there are still some cliffs that are difficult to jump. ...Don't ask about the time I fell of of a sled either. Aswell, while I'm transformed, It uses a lot of magic power. No matter how outstanding your physical abilities are, you can't be careless. MC: Thank you for sharing a bunch of stories!
