Eh... ah, uh.. um... th, thank,, you... >Player: That's a nice outfit you're wearing This "Yo! Upbeat!" looking thing? That's a sense of taste I can't even understand. Its flashy, its tight... it stands out. Above all, there's people coming up to me all friendly and trying to start a conversation... is there anything as frightening as that? I'm at my limit... I want to take this thing off as soon as possible... >Player: Well then, I guess we'll get started with the interview-- Huh?! D- d-, did you say interview? With me? No no no, you cant be serious.... For a shut in like me, something like that is surely impossible... I reject your offer. ...I- I can't reject it? You're not leaving much room for adaptability here, huh. W- Wait a second... Alright, it's fine now. T- Then, let's get this over with. >Player: How have the birthday congratulations been from everyone? ....T- this big group of normies all trying to talk to me, it's literally nothing but torture... It's a big mistake if you think everyone wants to celebrate their birthday from a lot of people! >Player: Are birthdays not fun? All it is, is just another year closer to death, why would I be happy about-- ah- wait hold on that's a lie, I take that back. In the 2d game world I'm getting a constant overflow of birthday events. I've been collecting the limited voice lines, then from that reading the birthday stories... Since this morning I've been really busy!~ S- so then, can I uh, go back to my room? ..I can't? Seriously? --- Story 2 --- >Player: Let's continue on with the interview. N- nah, who even cares about what I'm talking about, haven't we already done enough...? >Player: I wan't to be able to talk to you, not through a tablet... If we talk directly, will it end faster? If so, then fine. >Player: Thank you very much. Then, could you tell us your favorite food? Snack foods. They're tasty, they're easy to eat while playing videogames... isn't that perfect? Out of everything my favorite is chiikukei dagashi*(see TL note v). Mix in the water, sprinkle in the powder, wait for it to harden up... When eating candy becomes a game I end up getting focused on playing with it... fuhehe. When the colors and shapes change on their own, its actually really interesting. If you think its just something for kids, you'd be wrong! >Player: Then, what about your least favorite food? Raw fish. It smells bad, the lukewarm temperature is gross, when you it its all like sticky and slimy... Its such a bother that you have to prepare tableware just to eat it. The fact that its a lot of work is the worst. If you're saying you wont get enough nutrition that way, just eat a nutrition snack bar and you're good! There, argument invalid! >Player: Is there a reason you have headphones on most of the time? .....Hmm. Now you're starting to ask the real questions. Ofcourse, it's because I want to listen to good music with the absolute highest sound quality possible. When I listen to a composition with the highest quality timbre and audio, it pays respect to the creators who make the masterpieces. Ah, and also one with noise canceling is absolutely vital... its perfect for shutting out the outside world! >Player: What kind of music do you listen to? I- I, have an idol group that I stan. I like the music from those kinds of groups. Because idols are more than their appearances~~~ Because I totally don't stan any group that doesn't have good songs~~~ >Player: So you're a fan of idols. Is there any particular group you like? It's 'Gakemo'! 'Gake Puchi Moirasu'!!**(see TL note v) You don't know what that is? Wow you're such a normie. They're a really popular group of 3 people that are veteran dancers and expirenced vocalists! The girl's god-like songs make me want to clap along like at a live concert... Fuhehe!! If you're interested I can let you borrow one of their CDs... ((*TL Note 1: I don't know the english word for this, but it's essentially like a kind of japanese candy that comes with different things to mix together and put into molds to play-make foods)) ((**TL Note 2: I believe this is suppost to be a reference to the movie Hercules (since thats where Idia's character design comes from) but since I haven't seen the japanese translation of the movie, I can't really seem to find the original thing he's referencing...)) --- Story 3 --- >Player: Let's continue the interview for just a little longer. ...Are you serious? I've been resisting the urge to use my tablet this whole time. H- hey, why don't we just end this? I talked a lot already, didn't I? What's even the purpose of this? I know I'm suppost to be the ""main person of the day"", but why can't you see my opinion...? >Player: B- because it's almost over... Um, what about some stories about your past birthdays? Hmmm..... Both of my parents gave me a lot of games as presents. Videogames, boardgames, mostly stuff that is mainly played in a room. The day I would get it, I'd be extremely excited to play them with Ortho. When I was really young, I would always beat Ortho at the games. Well, I can't help that I'm such a genius. Hehe. But, everytime Ortho would seem really sad when he lost, and so I slowly started changing the kinds of games we played. Roulette games, or games using dice, analog games like that. Because with that there really isn't a technique, so I can play together with Ortho and he can have fun too... >Player: You're a really nice brother. W- well, even if it's my birthday, I still have to be a good brother... But, it's not like I can win against Ortho at computer games now! >Player: Ok, last question. Eh? R- really the last one? I'm at my limit already.... >Player: It's the final one! Could you tell us about what kind of birthday greetings you've gotten? Uhh.... T- The time when the day change all of my net game friends sent me a lot of congrats messages through the chat. Ah, yeah yeah, one of my battle comrades crimsonmuscle(username) gave me some rare weapons as a present. Yeah-, it was a warm-hearted event! ....huhh. I wish that I didn't have to talk face to face, just getting congrats online is enough for me. Face to face conversation being perferred over email or chat, things are slowly starting to look back to the old ages huh? These extroverts need to understand that talking and laughing while looking directly at me is so much pressure... And with that point, if I use this tablet to talk, then I can let my real personality show through lol! >Player: Thank you, and aswell happy birthday!
