It's not explained in the anime, but the reason Mio changed her request is because she wants Makoto to take her to bed because he wants to, not just to fulfill a request. This is really another anime that I find is not fully enjoyed without having read the source material since there are huge amounts of information and lore left out in the anime and sometimes things don't fully make sense without that.

The anime also hides the fact that he was okay with it, since she deserved a reward for her good job

Kinda funny that we're so used to Luto being a human that we forget he's a greater dragon. Also Makoto's transition to speaking without text was so smooth that I never really noticed lol.

Personally, i enjoy worldbuilding if its well done. It tells me that the Creator gives alot of Thought to his/her World. So "boring" chapters have a right to exist. Without that, the Action would feel stitched together.

fully agree they use fan service in anime to fill the gaps that are difficult to ( or in some cases they just don't want to ) translate from the source material i don't blame them for it either trying to add your own stuff to a story can ruin. Fan service is also the easy fix for having to cut things out of a story in order to make it fit in the time/episodes they have been given. In slimes case they translated everything and what would normally be about an hour long read turned into 9 episodes of meetings spread between 9 weeks which was painful if the clayman fight was as satisfactory as it was that season woulda been a huge flop lol

The thing is, there's source material that do have lewd stuff in it. Some anime adaptations that were toned down. Compared to the source material. Like even fights being toned down. Since depending on the story. Can be more brutal in the source, then the anime adaptation. Good example is the black summoner anime adaptation. That was toned down too much. And even reading the manga of that one, you would notice the differences. As for this anime, there's various things that get left out. Including some of the stuff with the gorgons. And what they do sometimes with their time. lol It's very briefly hinted at, in this last episode of the season.

Couple episodes you guys asked for a recommendation without fan service. I'd like to again recommend Assendance of a Bookworm. The closest thing to fan service in the anime is clean hair, where the MC gets kicked out because a husband can't resist getting intimate with his wife after a shampoo rinse. So please watch this show about a little bibliophile trying to invent the print industry while dying from what is essentially magic cancer.

S3 is coming.

The issue is that season 2 is a real rush job. If you compare it to the manga they at times skipped more than 10 chapters of the manga, but a chapter is not a weekly one piece chapter or so, put more like 3-6 one piece chapter. So what would have been like 30 one piece episodes was somehow one episode in Tsukimichi S2 or just entirely skipped. They basically went far beyond the current point of the manga adaptation. Why they felt the need to do this rush job no one knows. The basically went from manga chapter 30 or so to 90 and beyond in the first 10 episodes or so.

might be out of the usual, but I want you guys to react to agatha all along, and hear your opinion on the writing
@senpaiofsavage307218 сағат бұрын
Always love watching both of your reactions but I heard the same thing I hear so many other ppl say about TenSura (Slime) and Tsukimichi when it comes to "talking" and to be honest it's as bland of an opinion as you could have and I don't believe this is the case with you guys but most ppl who criticize the "talking" parts of world building anime such as Tsukimichi and TenSura tend to be battle shonen anime freaks who just want fighting all the time. I've learned in my life to not expect all anime to be the same (whether it's about fighting, fan service, tropes, whatever) so if I watch TenSura/Tsukimichi I'm not expecting Demon Slayer/JJK/MHA and so on. Anyway just my thoughts. Going to keep watching you guys as your content is great even if opinions differ.
@BrothersYeo16 сағат бұрын
It's true, when the critics are looking mostly for one thing only (boom boom pow). Unfortunately TenSura and Tsukimichi suffer from poor directing. Talking isn't bad of course. Talking done poorly is bad. Plenty of slow and dialogue driven anime like Vinland Saga Season 2 and Monster are great. Shinsekai Yori's episode 3 world building exposition dump/revelation is EPIC and it's purely talking. These two isekai, in anime form, do very poorly using dialogue to world build. But here's the thing, unless the studio is willing to go above and beyond to deviate from the LNs and actually get creative with how they present the content, all we get is characters "reading" the LNs to us (summarizing even), which is bad anime. Other reactors won't or maybe can't go to these lengths to explain why it's bad. But it's bad all the same. But glad you're enjoying our stuff and thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Spirit Chronicles S1 should be up next. Then the Genius Prince.

@@jjimlee7009 I would like a Spirit Chronicles reaction. Really fun show and has a S2 out now. Also Genius Prince is super underrated. For a show more about "politics" it has a super intriguing love plot.

Yeah root is a character i don't like. Didn't like root, reading thru the WN source. Just someone who gives information, but overall can't be trusted. Makoto never really trusts root either. lol Also there is lewd stuff in the WN source btw. lol There's some stuff left out. That the anime sorta hinted at the end.(stuff involving gorgons and a few others)Also the anime adaptation did cut out a good amount. Especially if you read the manga adaptation. o _0 Since it has stuff, that the anime adaptation doesn't have.

I love Nathan asking for less T+A but I was thinking.. he is talking about anime right? lol :s
@gohanangered9650Күн бұрын
@@Timmycoo Yeah exactly. Some of the stories, that are adapted to animes. Their source material sometimes aren't just for teenagers. Some are actually written for adults. lol Like there's some harems where they fully have adult affection time in them. Where the characters are young adults. As they use to say back in the day, sex sells. lol Plus there's some anime adaptations in general, i wouldn't show to a young kid. Just because of the violence they have in them. I think a good amount of people in the west. Don't realize, anime is one of their main sources of entertainment for young adults. Usually kid shows in japan are like super sentai and pokemon anime type stuff. lol
