Saw you guys in the late 90's when I was just a young little punk rock wannabe dork. Met ya'll outside of the place in Pensacola where you were putting on a show. I think Oobliette and maybe the guitar player bummed a few cigarettes off of me. I bought the Mayhem on the High Seas vinyl - I kept it until just a few years ago when I left it out and the sun and it got all warped. I bought The Ultimate Escape when it first came out and loved it as well, and saw the band again with its four-piece incarnation on a Warped Tour in Atlanta. Unfortunately I had too many beers and missed the last two songs of the set because I accidentally walked out of the exit-only gate while looking for a bathroom. Anyway, it's good to see you're back, in whatever form you could take. The new lineup looks and sounds great, and it's cool to hear the later-era songs with a keyboard. I can't help but miss Agent M, but the new lineup rocks and the new singer sounds great. I hope you keep going, and hope to see the band a third time. If there's a new album I will pick it up day one.

This Tsunami Bomb includes band founders and main songwriters: bassist Dominic and original vocalist/keyboardist Oobliette, with original drummer Gabe. At this show, were joined by Chris La Forge guitarist for 30 Foot Fall, and a new vocalist Kate Jacobi.

No problem. The line-ups are a bit confusing because technically the line-up changed every LP. Dominic Davi and Oobliette Sparks started the band and wrote or co-wrote most of the music, Gabe Lindeman played on the first shows, but didn't join as a full time member until over a year or so later. Brian Plink was the first official guitarist in Tsunami Bomb, though Tim Chaddik was the first actual guitarist as a fill in. June McRory was the first singer in Tsunami Bomb (with Oobliette) and when she left, Emily "Agent M" Whitehurst stepped in as the second singer in Tsunami Bomb but she's the one most people remember. Kate Jacobi is actually the third main vocalist Tsunami Bomb has had. There have been so many guitarists, but Mike Griffen (the second official guitarist) is the one most remember. See? It gets kinda complicated. For older fans, this return is exciting because it represents the core music songwriters returning to the band they started. One of the reasons the shows have done so well is due to the band sounds more like the recordings then it did before it broke up. Will it still sound like Tsunami Bomb as it moves forward? I guess that depends if you like the new songs or not.

Agent M aka Emily Whitehurst, didn't want to return to the band, choosing to focus on her project Survival Guide. We had to respect her wishes, and we hope she has nothing but success. She's very talented and she did nothing but right by our band. Kate is our singer now, and thankfully we have Oobliette back who was one of the original singers for Tsunami Bomb and can be heard on "Trust No One" extensively and co-wrote a lot of songs on "The Ultimate Escape". We know it's a lot to get used to, but hopefully in time you'll enjoy the band as it is now.
