Thanks for the sageo tying display. I'm going to finally try it myself now.

Very nice video. Few things tho....not a good idea to hammer the tsuka on the nakago while having the blade tip against the ground. You could damage the blade. I know it's a tight fit, but still. And always display katana with the cutting edge upwards even in saya. If it's not tachi blade. These are displayed with the cutting edge downwards. Anyway, nice video and like how You tied that "ronin musubi". Nice job. It is actually really fun to do. Take care. One more thing, I think there is a slight gap in samegawa towards the end of tsuka. Probable due to usage of the previous owner. Still a very nice sword.

I thought I was the only one. I saw the tip pointed to the ground and was like oh no that poor blade

The poor kissaki would be damaged.

I cringed when the point was on the ground and the hammering began.

there's no sharp point. it's a iaito

@@ExtremeGamingHD3D We know, but it still could very well have damaged the kissaki (the blade's tip) when you were hammering the tsuka

@@justinfch There was no damage, kissaki on a iaito is round-shaped
