I really love Tsunami! What an awesome robot! It's the German Chaos 2, it's even black and silver like Chaos 2. I really wish it went onto the Seventh Wars semi-finals and had met the other robots there, that would have been something really interesting to see. I REALLY desperately wish that there was an eighth wars in 2004, Typhoon 2 would have been the number 1 seed and Storm II would have been the number 2 seed. What a strong lot of seeds there would have been!

After watching the German Wars, I'm glad they brought in Tsunami for Series 7.

Oh I thought Tsunami was an original name. Oh well, I guess I gotta think about a different name for my Grappler, Lifter, and spinner walker bot that I planned for. Tomorrow is another day, after all.

Controversial opinion but I think that Tsunami are objectively the best robot from the classic series, if they didn't self right X - Terminator, I reckon they could've easily won series 7. St Agro and Bulldog Breed I feel would both get flipped out and Tsunami are a durable machine so they can surely get the killer flip on Typhoon 2 and as for Storm 2, the thing you need to beat a good pusher is a low powerful flipper which Tsunami certainly is. The only robot I feel who could stand up to them from the classic series is Atomic 2.

No chance. The only evidence we have of Tsunami being successful are three fights against poor robots in the German series and two easier fights in series 7. You can tell from the fights they lost (especially the one here against X-terminator) that Tsunami isn't particularly well driven. The fact that they tried to flip X-terminator out rather than leaving them flipped shows a high level of naivety. Alongside this, they were so tentative in both of their 1v1s, only really pressing the advantage against constrictor after they missed a lift. Problems like this would've been punished by better drivers/more experience robots. This is all without mentioning that Tsunami didn't look overly durable. It only took a couple of good hits by both Black Hole and XT for debris and panelling to start flying off of Tsunami. If by a miracle they'd reached the Grand Final, I don't think that they could've stood up to a more powerful spinner like Typhoon.

@@Aztwecas They could easily get to the Grand Final. All that stood in their way was St. Agro and Bulldog Breed, both of which they would've swept through. And as for Typhoon, they could easily get under and flip it before it gets up to full speed.
