A heartwarming horror game about exploring in a mysterious company housing and living with a ghost for 7 days
You will be staying in a room inhabited by a ghost, and face a number of small troubles.
The ghost will never take your life. However, she will take your donut and hide the dishes in the room.
You will have to escape from the looming ghost, sometimes be attacked, and sometimes have a heart-to-heart talk with her to get through the 7 days in peace.
Explore the room from a first-person perspective and complete your missions to survive the night.
Ghost are always approaching from behind you. Run around without getting caught.
Solve various problems that arise night by night and close the distance between her.
The protagonist is transferred to a company housing in a provincial area by himself for one week due to work reasons.
The company housing, which is scheduled to be demolished in seven days, is actually a house that has a bad reputation for being haunted.
Would he be able to overcome the various bizarre phenomena and successfully complete his assignment alone?

so idk if I'm going to write it, but this got me thinking of a story. What if a husband and wife who have tried and failed for years to have a baby move into a new home for whatever reason, maybe they needed to move for work. It turns out it's haunted with a little kid ghost or maybe siblings who died together. I'm thinking that after a bit they realize that they really are just children ghosts and they adopt them, but to keep tension and scares up maybe there's a demon that torments them and the couple and they have to figure out how to get rid of it and save the children and their home.

I have watched a Japanese streamer play this last night and surprised you got to this game very fast. Initially thought this is going to be a typical J horror indie game but turns out to be so funny, heartwarming and sad at the same time. Seems the ghost has taken an interest in the protagonist and loves to troll him any chance she gets, all with that emotionless expression.

The second ending didn't feel as comforting and fulfilling. It was more eerie and foreboding actually, like when she looks at the "viewer" it's like she's saying: "This is it?" and just walks off screen. It felt empty. I dunno, she just seemed happier in the first ending.

I love this game. It seems like it's gonna be a standard indie horror, but instead it's a unique game with a cute and goofy and sweet story and ghost character. The fact that she couldn't move on because of her cat tugged my heartstrings ngl.

I'm happy the Dev went with the animal, because if they had it be an ex or something causing her to not be able to move on, would have felt so cliché. Just like people unable to comprehend why John WIck would go on a murderous rampage from gangsters killing his dog, you have to actually have owned a pet to understand. I truly believe that people have much stronger bonds with their pets over their partners. You never fight with your pet, they never judge you, or could have possibly cheated on you, they are always there and they always love you up until their final days. That is why the bond is so strong.

This was an excellent little game. I loved the quirky mix of horror and comedy that they threw in right from the get-go (the initial donut offering made me laugh out loud), and I was not expecting it to hit me in the feels the way it did at the end. Definitely a great spin on a typical 'haunting' horror game idea and I'm glad we got to experience it with you! :)

Far too often we see ghosts portrayed as bitter and vengeful, but sometimes all they need is a little love or someone to tell them everything's okay. One thing I did find interesting, though, is that the protagonist grew up in a temple, yet kept scoffing whenever he found a ward. It's rather funny because said wards (depending on the kanji used) are usually either to create a protective barrier or to banish spirits. If written incorrectly, they can have the opposite effect. Yet in the ending where you left one of the wards up, Madoka was still able to move on. It leads me to believe the reason the protagonist thought they were junk was because whomever placed them didn't create them properly or bought them from one of the many scam artists in Japan who pretend to be legit exorcists (sort of the Oriental version of fortune tellers at carnivals). The Day 6 puzzle included a fun little easter egg. In Japanese, the number 39 is often used as a pun, because the Japanese pronunciation is "san kyuu". In other words, the final part of the puzzle was her saying thank you and the tea was just a gift of gratitude, not the thank you itself. I used to play games like that all the time, leaving riddles that led to more riddles, revealing bits of a bigger message or little presents each step of the way. My ex-wife hated me for it because she could never figure out the riddles without several people helping her. I have to admit, the first ending was my favourite. There are far worse things in life than to share your home with a beautiful ghost woman who shares a love of games and cats.The idea that she could move on whenever she wants but instead decides to stick around with a "not good looking guy" really made my day. And it's not because I'm not as good looking in my old age, either. It's especially heartwarming to see Nina decide to hang around as well. Our home has always been open to animal spirits, of which we've had more than one over the years. Simply put, the guy gets gets the girl AND the cat - a perfect ending if ever there was one. And yet this really felt like the beginning of a story, not the ending. I'd kind of like to see a sequel where we see how they're getting on, maybe with more fun antics (Madoka gets jealous because she thinks the protagonist's sister is his girlfriend and he has to figure out what she's upset about before his sister arrives, or perhaps you play as Madoka fending off burglars trying to steal a temple artifact the protagonist is slowly restoring... There are plenty of possibilities). The world definitely needs more heartwarming games like this, and I'm glad we got to spend a(n all too brief) week with this unexpected couple.

Don't cry! I am 99.999999% positive she is coming along with you. She didn't ascend, or disappear in a blast of dazzling light. She moved into you, so either she is hitching a ride in you (lol) she got into your suitcase or she got into the cat doll. I think her emotions from the cat where so strong, she refused heaven to stay with the protagonist. In a perfect world, one day the protagonist will die, than they will do the "To the Moon" ULTRA LOUD sobs ending (saddest ending I have ever seen on anything film, book, Tv, ANYTHING), where she is waiting for you, and you both ascend to the afterlife together.

The beginning and ending has the kind of bookends to the game. The beginning has the ghost grab the arm of the protagonist and takes the donut he gives her. The ending has the ghost hand in hand with the protagonist on the train, she takes a donut but this time shares it with him.

Thanks for playing this, Chris, it was unexpected and heartwarming. The ghost's initially hostile behavior which grew more playful over time--tsundere, indeed. And I admit that I shed tears when the Nina connection was uncovered. So bittersweet. As for which ending I preferred... **Spoilers** I prefer the second in which, I assume, Madoka and Nina are free to go to "heaven," and the protagonist is free to live a normal life with a non-yokai girlfriend.😄

This was not your typical horror...and I loved it. It made me jump and had some tense moments, but were broken up with some light humor that was NOT expected which was fantastic. And the ending had made me a ball of tears. This was so well done, I hope the game Dev(s) know this.

If I could super like a video, this 1 would be it. I was expecting a usual horror game. The funny and different way this one went got me extremely hooked. I laughed a good bit and couldn't wait to see the next funny interaction between them. When he said he had her cat I smiled so big, bit as soon as I seen the picture with flowers I actually out loud gasp and said oh no! The endings, both of them I enjoyed. Anyone who has lost a pet who they were so close to would give anything to see them again. This warmed my heart in so many ways. I watch all of your videos ironically on my TV through another KZbin account, but I cant comment on them from there. I had to find this on my phone to comment on this one. I loved this game 100% all the way through. And I love to watch your videos. My husband watched this with me and as soon as he held up the donut and she took it, he said, "there's a man who knows what a woman wants. Women are usually just hungry" lol

That was much more heartwarming than I expected. I really enjoyed Sawaise so much and would be glad to have her as a girlfriend (in one version), despite the obvious obstacles involved. I love that she loved to play, but stopped immediately when firmly told she was going too far. But if you played honestly and helped her out when she needed it (both the figurine and the information), she was honestly sweet in return. That little tea moment brought tears to my eyes. I mean, she even gave you the first bite of that final donut. Sure, it was *your* donut in the first place, but hey. It's true that, because she's a ghost, if she had 'tagged' you in the "Red Light, Green Light, 1-2-3" game, it likely would not have gone well for you, and that was scary, but ultimately worth it since Madoka Sawaise was a lovely person to interact with (I was sorry the PC could not have known her in life). It was also really nice to see a ghost who wasn't consumed by vengeance (or a demon), and just wanted to have a little fun (and yet wasn't a child). Thanks for playing and sharing, CJU!

I think in the first ending, after you removed the last talisman by the door and when she gave her hand for a 'handshake' then she leans in and suddenly disappeared, I think in that moment she got attached to you (ghost attachment) basically you are haunted now by her. The proof of that is when during the train scene where you see her sitting beside you and holding your hand and oh! She brought along her cat Nina too! :) I think that the talisman each day you found in a room is meant to protect you, well that is if you don't remove it so that she can't get close to you In the second ending, well, I think she just did not follow you home because you kept the talisman by the door and I think she is still in that apartment with her cat Nina Edit: I replayed the second ending scene and saw that the door with a talisman is gone, I think that she and the cat moved on seeing she walks out of that door.

Another long video! So much better than TV. This was a really interesting game - creepy at times, but amusing and sad too. No sympathy about the second doughnut (third day). The closet doors were left open. How did he expect her to not find it? I have to say I don’t think I’ve seen anyone turn around so slowly in the cut scenes. Not sure what to make of the second ending. I have a feeling the seals you were destroying (except the last one) were keeping her stuck in that area.

The impression I got was that the person who put them up bought them from a scammer instead of an actual temple exorcist. Considering the protagonist kept calling them junk and he grew up in a temple, it would make a lot of sense. And him taking the time to remove all of them might have simply been that extra bit of proof to Madoka that this guy is what she really needed despite not being good looking, hence why she sticks around if he removes all the seals but moves on if he doesn't.

Ending explanation : In the normal ending she leave you and go to the heaven (not really heaven, she's actually back to the circle of reincarnation to be more specific) with her cat as she can't leave the house because of those seals. In the good ending you tear all the seals to untie her from the house, then she's able to follow you home. And my thought of her death is probably sickness, if its a murder, suicide or accident others worker will know it

This was a funny horror one, loved it.😂 imagine having to sleep there. This does show how to please a ghost, donuts, toys, fake bugs, fix her stuff, play hide and seek with kitchen gear. Only thing I did not like are those light spots when you look around light. It is like your reading glasses are terribly dirty and you have to look through it. That could be a little less.😊

Hilarious! I love that the devs played with their horror, love the script and of course, Chris' rendition has me giggling again and again. Most of the time I want the visitor to make friends with the pretty little ghost. Right now I'm at wherever Chris admitted that he doesn't actually think she's trying to kill him, but her mischief could certainly go awry. Looking forward to the ending, I think... ?

this game was very sweet and kinda intense I like the fact that the ghost girl cant kill and that you can have a chat with her from time to time and do chores around the house this seemed kinda more like horror simulation game kinda like walking simulator game with chores that you have to do in the game and you get a reward of some sort after you do them

This was an adorable game. Made me smile in a quite a few places. The story progression was really good. So often games have real bare bones character development, but this Romance was well cultivated.Theres a really old back and white film called The Ghost and Mrs Muir, and this game really is similar to that film, Living person moves into a haunted home and they and the Ghost fall in love. Some great comedic moments in this,.. the donut scene, that sets this up as a RomCom/Horror,.. and the Stag beetle scene,..also the Tantrum scene where she struggles to pick and object up, puts it down, carries on her tantrum with other objects, and ends up gliding the green robot figure right across the room in front of us. That was some real cinematic comedy and it worked so well. That really made me giggle. Chris's commentary was flawless as usual. You can see he's a man who has lived with a Lady,..the tantrum scene where he was like 'Yep, shes in a mood' with such resignation,..had me sniggering to myself. First ending was definately my fave ending. A very fitting ending with all of them together. :) Beautifully written game, and beautifully played by Chris. Thank you so much for the entertainment Chris.

Very perfectly put! Also, I loved the Ghost and Mrs. Muir when I watched it as a teen. 😊 I truly love paranormal/monster romances, so this game definitely delivered to me. 💕
