Tips for getting a 16 minute time on the excellent TT - Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge game on the PS4 Pro. Developer - Kylotonn (KT) Racing. Publisher - Bigben interactive. See this game on the black Friday list and never has a game brought me so close to tears. True trauma just trying to go -18.00. That last corner trying to correct the bike to wobble fancy the opposite way nearly finished me off

4th gear through union mills grabbing 5th on the exit and flat out through Ballagarey. If you make ballacraine around the 3min mark you're going well. I have a sub 16 with 1 crash. I try get to ballagh bridge under 7 mins and exit the goose neck around 10.5 mins. That's on Dan Hegartys 600.

@Eyeswideopen 1111 Your welcome, And I agree when you're on a flying lap and bin it just for going down 1 gear and the then for no reason crosses the road lol. I've bought ride on the edge 2, bikes are slower but much more rideable, I have yet to post a sub 18 lap though which is very fraustraiting. If you fancy a few laps anyone leave your gamer tag I'll add you.

I think they did an awesome job. Be interesting to see what the second game physics are like. I could get onboard with the bike being a bit less skittish, but there's something raw about the first one needing a massive amount of skill and concentration which makes it a beast to master, and rewarding when you do

This is the only race sim I enjoy that isn’t in VR. Very underrated. Fkn intense isn’t the word. Harder to learn than the Nurburgring.

Haha great vid,love the wifey jokes. I just bought this game,watched this video...thought I'd get in the 20 min club straight up,how wrong I was lol...got a 21:55 on my second lap ,1:12 faster than my first lap ...got the fall guy trophy, that was a piece of cake haha. Not used to the toggle sticks ,very touchy. You can really feel the speed though!

I watched this video over a month ago and lo and behold, I got a 16:50 the other night on TT2 in Head cam! Your tips were priceless :) PS - The bikes are a lot faster in the first game.

Nice! I'm curious about the sequel and looking forward to playing it. Just haven't gotten everything out of the first one I want yet. I spent so much time on Snaefell mountain I haven't cleared the career mode yet lol

with supersport (Honda) my fastest lap is 15:55 and with Superbike my fastest 15:15 (Suter). The feeling when you make a round without falling is great :D

Brilliant! I got it free with Gold for Xbox, what an amazing game. When would you advise taking the racing line off? I'v only done about 15 laps and still hardly know it.

I turned the racing line off day 1. Hate it. Interferes with the skill of learning the visual cues. It will take time to learn the full track off by heart. Like days of playing. But once you've got it, it'll be locked in for life for all racing versions. Analogous to learning the Nürburgring

I've never used the racing line. Turned it off as soon as I loaded the menu, I wanted to learn the track. Nordschleife is nothing compared to Pikes Peak, and Pikes Peak is nothing compared to this 😂

Late to post but I've just got the game. Is this a recording of riding in first person view or do you ride in first person view? I like FP riding but my times are better in behind the bike camera. Can I be competitive if I stick with FP view riding? Thanking you.

I can do it, I know I can do it. I just can't do it. I have a 17:25 with three crashes (fast) and a 17:15 with none (slow and careful). If I nail it I'm fast enough, but I can't drive fast and clean. You need so much concentration

The bikes just fly off the track for no reason. That’s literally the only time I crash. They should fix the unrealistic bullshit in it.

I try to think of it like sandy spots on the road in real life. You just need to avoid them. Take note of where you fly off for no reason. I know of about 5 deadzones that I've learned to NEVER ride over, and if you avoid them you're good.

johnnyg42 no I know what your talking about. There are time where the game just sends me off one way for no reason. It has happened to me on the straights.

Ratt Pack there are these spots that I think of as dead zones because that’s exactly what happens. You will be riding straight and then it’s just suddenly like you got T-Boned by a MAC truck. Like in the left lane of the Hawthorne right as you pass the spectators on the left. If I’m in that left lane I find I get thrown off while riding straight for seemingly no reason most of the time. After it happened a few times I’ve since stayed in the right lane and haven’t had the problem there since. So what I’m saying is I didn’t think these deadzones are “random”. I think they are glitches, and should not be there at all, but they can be learned and avoided.
