TT01 RWD Test

TT01 3d Printed drifting test.
This is a car build with the kit that ‪@zeusgarage4368‬ made, i am very pleased with the results and the performance on this kit. Do go check out he's wild channel! Everyone with a 3d printer and a TT01 should do this, seriously.
I substituted the parts i didnt have with 3d printed stuff i made in fusion, so theres alot of play in this car but it still performs amazing.
I didnt have the correct pinion for the car either so i got a file and printed one, im amazed it has taken all this punishment. I drove for 40 minutes filming this on 3 cells.
All the parts are printed in PETG.

The steering response of my TT01 is very emotional! Very sensitive, no gradual turn

I use a bigger wheel on my radio, it gives me more steering input, this car is also converted to RWD with some 3d printed parts :)

How much wider is it at the front? I recently installed wide angle steering arms on my TT01. Improved it but not as much as this. Nice. Good old chassis.

I'll have to measure it, i made a whole recording when i got back home from this trip but i couldnt stand my voice on recording. But ill explain what i did here instead. Cars a free chassis that was handed to me from a friend lol, it was used as a spareparts chassis so there was some stuff missing. For a while ive been watching videos on 3d printing rwd conversions for tt01's hoping id find something that would fit my TRF. This is a 3d printed kit from Zeus Garage, you can find him here on youtube, very detailed build videos. He has some specifications that i set up the car with, and i used other 3d printed parts to substitute what he used i didnt have :D, so its not a pretty home made set up with alot of 3d printed parts. Im amazed it drives that well tbh, but thats not on the author of the parts more down to my substitutes. It has alot of play in the steering :) This car is on a 3d printed pinion gear, and it survived 40 minutes with a 3 cell.

@@Yurisminator-RC Good you saved it. Free is always nice 👍🏻 I watched the Zeuschannel too. Amazed how people can design these parts. My steeringarms are printed too. Wanted to see how far that got me. Locked rear differential and RWD. I am an absolute noob when it comes to drifting lol. Decided to keep it as it is now. Put some slicks on it so my daughter kan enjoy jumping it in the skatepark. Got a used HSP chassis. Going to tinker with that. You can mod that thing low budget with a few pieces of plastic. Starting there. Just for fun. The Tamiya was in the attic a long time. Enjoy it mate.
