Seems to me that Olah is hiding his serve with his arm quite often. The referee’s decision doesnt make sense to me

Yeah, both the toss and the big hiding hand is so obvious. It seems that they decide to go tough, without consistancy

Oh no. Olahs serve was ok and efficient. He could follow it up with many good third-ball-attacks. And LeBruns toss was no way vertical when the criticized judgement was made. But since LeBrun is a great player and in great form he could come back and read Olahs serve better and make strong attacks on his own. Maybe one of the more complicated games in the tournament for LeBrun?

Can you guys see why Alexis Lebrun struggled with the reverse pendulum serve of Benedek Olah this game? I also noticed that Olah started using his forehand in the second set, which helped a lot. Another thing is that Olah seemed to lose points whenever he was tipping on his toes before the serve receive, which seems to indicate that he was focusing on being quick on his feet instead of doing what he does with his style. that reverse pendulum is blatantly illegal, literally the waldner era style of serving with using the other hand as cover. In fact later Olah started hiding his other serves as well.

Olah is a big guy and I feel like his footwork is holding him sometimes. Especially moving forward and back. He missed so many forehand counters because of that.

Alexis absolutely deserved to win this match, also he is the much better player.

umpires should be ashamed of themselves. Either use video camera technology or change the rules if you can't enforce them.

Both players have ilegal serves. Lebrun"s is more notorios coz he does not show the ball properly before serving. Moreover, he is giving some spin to the ball when tossing it and it does not go very straight.

Il a déjà expliqué que c'est pour empêcher Alexis de s'enerver en le faisant à sa place et qu'il ne le faisait pas avec Félix, mais bon le meilleur coach du monde élu par ses pairs ça a sans doute moins d'importance que l'avis de mathieu

Well at this day lacked quite little to actually beat a top player. Maybe thats what he's frustrated about. All this tiny little things that make the difference at a higher level. But sadly they add up over the course of a match!
