No, man. Lin shidong almost got the taste of his own medicine, like which he did to Ma long at China Smash. Lin Shidong did illegal hook serve, and this kid did the same to him. Lin Shidong played very tactically here by not using the illegal hook serve in the 5th game to keep Farazi not to use it as well, and lo and behold, Farazi took the bait and didn't do the Hook Serve at the advantage game point. Had Farazi did the Hook serve, he had a better chance of winning against LSD. Also, I belive, had Lin Shidong hadn't done the illegal serve to Ma Long, Ma long would have won the China Smash 2024, but Ma Long lost most of the points on LSD's illegal hook serve. I wished that Ma Long does some illegal serve as well to give LSD the taste of his own medicine. LSD has been protested by many for his serve like Timo Boll, Anders Lind and others.

Backhand weakness???? What game were you watching? He has it all. What LSD did was exploit the kids lack of consistency in countering, so that's why LSD did slow topspin bh so start a rally and then countering loop kills. LSD was lucky cause he caught a net ball at 9-4. This kid is legit and no fluke. He's a generational talent.

Also every kid is generational talent when they won some china players, until they grow up and realize they couldnt put up with the consistency and hardwork to be at the top. Like the past few kids

Lin Shindong's face in the end of match tells a lot about play😊. Faraji did not win due to absence of enought experience, from 9:3 a lot of own mistakes, and Lin point and point strategy give results.

This is a good match for LSD to train, especially mentally. Almost all the games he played before this, he comes in as either a younger or lower ranked opponent. This is a rare one where he's older and ranked higher against a relatively unknown.

In the match against Wang Chuqin, I was impressed by this kid, but was aware of it, that Wang really was far from his best and this kid was fighting hard for every point and made Wang nervous. But this match, impresses me way more than the one against Wang. Because Lin is not playing below his standards at all. This kid has a forehand, that is so insane. Chinese technique, very fast and such a fighting spirit. We should chill a little and dont expect these kind of results in every tournament, this was all in his flow. But he has a very bright future.

I observed that Benyamin can put great power and rhythm into the game when the game played as he likes, imagine or expect. A slight change in his opponent's game can easily make him struggle, even down to the levels of losing the games at scores 3-11 - if not an intentional strategy from his coach. We will see if he will be able to keep up with the same agile game style while he becomes taller, gains weight and muscle in the following years. I also believe that he needs a psycological support to minimize the big elevations between his ups and downs mentally. Well done boy ! Seems like Iran have caught a massive raw diamond to cut.

As I saw in all his games, he has very very strange spin. He plays not so fast, his wrist is not so fast too, but opponents can't recognise his spin. Because of this, they start playing slowly and serving simple serves. For me, the main question is what kind of rubbers he has?

Faraji is very athletic. Lin was on the ropes, staring defeat in the face. But Lin is calm. Played to keep the ball on the table up until 10-10. Then he went for a few point winner return of serves, and missed/misread them all. This means Faraji's serve is very good indeed.
