Just found your channel. Your online commentary is so like us when we go online. Difference is we actually enjoy it in a sadomasochistic way. None of us ever have much trouble with our connection though and it would ruin it otherwise. It was an issue back at the start of the generation but rarely happens now (UK)

Konami did not lie in their statements about the game and everything was clear before the game is released unlike FIFA every year they say we will do new things and in the end it is disappointed, FIFA game has not changed the style of play and cartoon graphics

I'm loving it! I was that guy that had two strikes for bad connection on PES20. Just for this game I bought a new router and switched to a more expensive internet service. In PES 20 I was banned from compititions but I could do ranked matches. But now with PES 21 I'm able to do match day events again! I'm so happy guys 😭.

You need to play manual online (online seasons or whatever it's called). I was hating MyClub for all the same reasons as you, but have played six games manual online now and every one has been enjoyable. No kick off cheats, no idiots, just proper football 👌 When you score it actually feels rewarding and when you concede you don't feel like you've been screwed over by the game. Haven't had much trouble finding matches either.

Good review, I play mostly offline, one improvement I found is a much faster transition between replays when the “e” comes with the graphics. For me that is big. Makes the game flow much better , comments?

Hi TheTrueBrits, I would like to propose that we from the PES community who enjoy this game create a campaign to konami about the cameras, more precisely Fan View, Blimp, Vertical and so on, all cameras that we can't edit. EA put customisability for all cameras in the game, it would mean a lot if Konami hear from us and did that too. It's something simple but I believe with your help our voices could be heard.

It's definitely an improvement. But let's be honest, that's only because 2020 was so poor. I'd honestly rate Pes 20 5/10 in its current state. Pes 21 6.5/10 There has been an improvement to the responsiveness in controls. And a very slight improvement to close dribbling. But that's it, all of the other problems remain. The collisions are still terrible, referees are still terrible, player switching is still inconsistent and the worst problem - players refusing to respond to lose balls - remains. The amount of goals I've conceded because I've blocked a shot, the ball goes toward another defender, but he just shuffles side to side and refuses to act. Also it's way too easy to just run in a straight line through the middle... If you run down the wing the CPU will close you down. If you run through the middle, they just move out the way. And this is on Superstar. It will have to do until 2022 - but let's not pretend the game is actually good. Otherwise Konami will not up their game.

I agree that there is a massive difference between online & offline, mainly how responsive & sharp the players feel. Some matches your team feels ridiculously lethargic and Konami need to sort this out, however, having given up on last seasons myclub due to people spamming the mechanics and formations of the game (4 CBs, 3 DMs literally all in the penalty area) perhaps i've been lucky so far but i feel that this has been somewhat addressed and there's much more variation in the squads and playstyles i've faced. Saying that, it has only been a week and not everyone has a God-squad yet due to the lack of legends. So if you are interested in myclub, play it now while it's fun.

Is it only me or does it really feel like the defending in pes 21 online is a bit problematic.There have been instances where I applied pressure on a player and my defender ran past him.It feels like they are wearing skates because it feels so slippery while defending ,Also sometimes the cursor just dosent change on the right player when you want to

I agree. The gameplay is a little different and I’m not sure that it’s better. Some say it’s smoother and more responsive, To me the players feel lighter , almost like there is slightly less gravity in 2021. They may respond quicker to the initial command but also feel like they have less traction. And defending is more difficult, I think to cut back on all of the collisions they made defenders avoid the offensive players sometimes. Definitely more goal scoring in 2021. Not sure that’s better.

Yeah cursor problem needs to be fixed... Doesn't switch to the obvious player..goal opportunities are missed near Goal Box area because ball get passed to the wrong player..also This is one of the reason why there is Ball Watching issue... Cursor doesn't switch to the right person and he ends up staring at the ball

It's no improvement played on and offline and bought on your recommendation that it had slight improvements. I haven't witnessed them, collisions and player responsiveness and speed still seem piss poor.

I'm actually seeing quite an improvement from the refs. Soooo many more fouls being called from just barging into a player, resulting in me actually being called for several fouls a game. Previously I always felt like slide tackling was the only way to pick up a foul, and since I rarely use that button I just never had any offenses or cards. Hopefully they stay on the right track with this one. The improvements needed now are more under the hood stuff, which we won't see until PES 2022 presumably. Leave the game play alone until then, pretty please!

I'm doing a ML with Chelsea and, to be honest, not having the transfers doesn't really make a difference. You can sign the players yourself or you can buy other (better?) players. You also have the option of re-doing the ML when the transfer update arrives. Just create a new save or you can overwrite it.

I doubt that the gameplay will be significantly modified as in PES 2020. This is due because only a skeleton crew is in charge of PES 2021. Resources, developers, and programers are concentrated in working on PES 2022. Thus, there is no incentive or need to work on a season update. I do not see Konami complicating its life over PES 2021. However, the negative aspect is that any bug, error, etc will be either address with delay or not at all. By the way I bought PES 2021 because it is only 1 of the 2 video games that I play regularly. Good video.

I've stuck to Pes 2020. As the gameplay is the same. It may be long, but I just imported updated kits and done the transfers manually. That's just my preference I guess. Next gen should be the ice breaker.

I played quite a lot of MyClub and only encountered 1 laggy game so far. But I guess most pes MyClub players are based in Europe and Turkey, which might explain the lag outside the EU. I indeed hope they set up some sort of servers, so that the lag is no longer a thing :)

Nice to see that the offline experience duing the macth is going to be slightly better. But my problem with PES is the unfelxible database and how fast the game and its database looses realism during a season. I miss a more detailed backround (history) of each player. His clubs, his stats ect, this would add a timeline into the masterleague and a more attached feeling to real life. Also the editor needs some more options, a ingame editor in masterleague would be a smart and easy choice to not make the game look outdated so fast. Since i can think PES always loose the realism becouse they dont quiete catch up with all the new youngstars, transfers and deveopments. Players who play surprisingly well in reallife are like a 70 and a computergeneretated face, best case. worst case; they dont exist. ALso those stupid bugs like upamecan benig a leftfoot since two years but in reallife of course a rightfoot. . I dont even get started about changing Managers and playstyles of the teams.

Cannot believe I am saying this but the IGN review this year is actually quite accurate. UI, presentation and commentary is appalling for 2020 and destroys the immersion for me. IGN refers to it as being PS2 era. I agree. Thing is it has the potential to knock FIFA out the park if they can get it right.

Good review, but there is nothing wrong with online, I play everyday 4 to 5 matches, smooth connectivity, no lag whatsoever.

in terms of online tournament variety MyClub is richer than Ultimate team.. In MC you have MatchDay+ Cups with relegation where u have to win all 3 games, Leagues where u have to gather 4 points in 3 games, and some other like win 1 game get the cup and etc. in FIFA u only have division rivals + in the end of week FUT cup and that only if u qualify by gathering 2000 points.. I dont know why everyone says that UT is better? Am i missing something?

In the commentary, I think there are a couple of new lines, and Jim Beglin has been cut down a little - he doesn't seem quite as repetitive. Hope they replace him in 22 though.

It’s defo worth buying if you like me like playing with the new teams, rosters, kits etc. Yes the game play hasn’t changed really but at £25 you can’t go wrong, it’s a very generous price that they have considered it’s not a full game. I’d rather that then pay £55/£60 for the exact same on Fifa with new changes that will not work and cause loss of bugs. I’m an ex fifa player and switched to pes last year and won’t go back to fifa

Game speed at -1 ?? Bloomin' 'eck !! I've played this game on game speed +2 and I often wish there was a +3 game speed available. It feels a little bit slower than Pes 2019 to me.

You sound like you’ve got spectrum internet. I’m like you a Brit in Florida. Weirdly I never seem to find a match online. Probably because I play without assists and manual everything else. So generally only play offline. Enjoy your vids.

Still need to fix AI playing the same way with any team, long balls up to the ST too often and there’s a lack of midfield battle

The AI still needs to be improved. Robertson’s cross should have been cut out by at least one of the two defenders for the first goal they were just ball watching. The goal keepers still seem to dive so late which leads to goals that shouldn’t have been goals.

Pes 2121 is £12.99 on cd keys much better value just encase some people don't know that is for pc steam (standard edition) 👍.

I'm really really trying to enjoy myclub but the defending mechanics and responsiveness are god awful. It's infuriating to play Btw FIFA servers are terrible too! It's been one of the games biggest issues for several years now ;)
