It amazes me how far music has become so bad. These people can play, in this age everything is autotuned and computer generated . I first saw and heard Susan on a local morning TV show in Providence Rhode Island back in the early 1980's. This young girl was belting out a song with crisp, powerful vocals with the sound of an old blues legendary soul. I couldn't believe my ears. I was instantly a fan. I stood there looking at the TV and watching. I was just stunned. It left such a lasting impression on me. 40 years later and the quality and sound is still crisp, clean, and genuine. Absolutely an amazingly talented person. I could never appreciate any fabricated pop "flash pan" performer because they could never compare with such real natural ability as Susan. What a wonderful blessing to listen and enjoy all these years!

I just saw them perform at the White River Amphitheater in the outskirts of Seattle last night. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Derek's high-flying guitar act tempered by Susan's vocals. Her own blues guitar getting a chance to shine as well. If you're a fan of blues, blues rock, or just plain good music played well, you should give them a listen. And yes, she performed this song. Interestingly enough, I saw Bonnie Raitt perform this song last week. Bonnie's version broke my heart. Susan's gave me hope.

Damn, amazing! I honestly didn't think it was possible for a cover to do justice to this beautiful song. I would love to see John Prine's reaction to this amazing rendering. Bonnie Raitt is amazing, but this... damn! Prine was such a generous artist with younger talent. He would be sitting back, guitar in hand, and just drinking this in. I heard Susan Tedeschi's version of this song back in 05 or 06 and I found out that Bonnie Raitt had done a version. Then after another google search I found out about John Prine. I listened to his recording of this song and then I heard 'Hello in There' and Illegal Smile'. I was a fan of his ever since. It actually hit me when he passed.
