I’ll miss these buses so much they were my childhood buses I used to ride on especially when they were at arrow road and the 45 then comes the 46. I’ll miss hearing these powerful engines on the 46 all the way from my home. I wish these buses could’ve At least retired at 2025

I can't believe that time has to fly on by with these buses. I really miss ridding the 79xx & the 80xx buses.

Last year Mississauga retired all the 2005/2006 MiWay while this year the TTC retired all the OG Diesels from 2006/2007. These buses were only made to serve the west end of Toronto and Mississauga for 17/18 years and then they will have to take them out of service. There used to be OG Diesels in the Arrow, Birchmount, and Eglinton Division however these buses retired in 2017/2018. Since 2019, the Queensway Division was the only division that still had the OG Diesels and they were able to use them for 18 years. I remembered seeing the OG Diesels when I took a 2005 MiWay on 3 BLOOR during the holidays in 2019 and 2022. As of right now, OG Hybrids are the oldest buses used by the TTC and slowly they will be retired as well since the TTC have been retiring these buses from 2021 until now.

I miss these buses so much. They mean a lot to me. Roughly 40 OG Hybrids remain in service

I never really drove these buses as I only worked at Arrow (before the VIIs came), Eglinton and Mount Dennis divisions. These definitely sounded good but I drove the Detroit Diesel counterparts a lot before they retired.
