@Bossiiiii the players dont just get money from the tournaments. They also acquire money from commercials, endorcements, advitisements for shoes, tt equipment, and like you mentioned the government could also pay them to play too.

It didnt look as Wang Hao suffered through out this tournament... he won it almost easily, dont you think? He didnt have a very intense behaviour during his matches, like he didnt need to fire up his spirit... at least thats what I feel :D
