the circuitry and electronics is well designed, however as the front and tail lights protrude in front and back of the deck, i believe this will be more prone to damage due to bashing either front or back of your board. If you can redesign this to be not protruding, i think this would be perfect and prevent damage to the lights

What a fantastic kit! Thanks for the rundown. I run with both a 36v 40ah and 12v 50ah lipo block pair on my heavy board so I'd like to know if these can be run off 12v alone?

Thanks for your support and question. There are two control module options to support different power source options. The SP version (used in the video) is powered directly from a 6S-12S battery, while the EP version is powered by a 12V source of the users choosing.

I wish somebody would develop a led controller with integrated battery or connectable to external powerbanks and gyro controls for brake detection etc. Some of us have a carbon unibody with zero extra space and impossible to drill holes because of structural integrity to connect anything with escs and batteries.

What's the difference between analog and digital as far as looks? I bought analog because digital wasn't in stock.

Digital can do more complex light patterns than analog. Analog lights will all be the same color at a given instance

I definitely understand your concern. That is why if any 3D printed part is to break on a user, the part will be replaced at cost of shipping. The 3D printed parts have gone through numerous iterations to make sure they are as strong as can be while staying low profile. So far, they have been used by beta testers and customers for hundreds of miles on various terrains and no problems have been reported.
