Guys what u dont know is that Truls have had a problem with his knee and now he has made a surgery, at this match the knee problem made him have bad footwork and that made him have a bad forehand.

He and his brother (Malte) has a gentetical weakness which means they have a hard time building muscles in their knees. All top european youth players spend lot of time in China far from competitions. His strange technique is due to his weird racket grip but footwork and forehand-wise he is pretty much chinese set up, like Gerell. Anyway, no european or japanese player could ever play the chinese way, except Chan Kazuhiro which is actually chinese.

I don't get why you compare them with Ma Long etc. they are still young. The Russian obviously had some problems with the Swede's serve, he also has very good BH, but he is a lefty and this is understandable, the Swede played awesome as well. I enjoyed the match the only thing is that Vova should play more calm and work a little on his attitude.

No no mate, usual grip... this grip has very good benefits, mainly you can play ball, while your opponent doesnt know, if the balls has big rotation or the ball is empty, this grip is called two-finger grip, just imagine you hold a pencil and you hold it actually like the pencil, if you are good player, use this grip, but it depends on your style too, so your choice, but you can just try it
